    We are the restoration committee of the Smithtown Volunteer Fire Dept., Long Island, NY. We recently regained possession of a 1935 Model BM City Service ladder tender which we gave to a neighboring fire dept. in 1959. We are in the process of restoring the truck and it's equipment.

    90 years ago today, my fire department took delivery of our Mack BM City Service Ladder Tender. Served us for 23 years before being sold to another Long Island department where it continued to serve the community. We were lucky enough to get her back a few years ago and have been able to have her restored. A beautiful rig that is great to drive!

    Looking for what the appropriate cover is to go over the center of the steering wheel on our 35 BM. Vehicle does not have a horn but I’m sure something goes on the center. Diameter of the button is 2 1/2 inches.Pictures here. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!
