    A veteran Mack mechanic with 30 years of Mack V8 experience put the pump 30% over spec. The truck had 525 HP and is now at 682hp to the ground. If I'm driving I get 5.5 mpg on heavy loads and on the reefer I can get it to 5.8 on 80lbs gross. Yes I'm very picky in my equipment and drivers. It's my name on the door and don't would like to look like a super trucker. Yes I know I will hear it, but I run 2010 Volvo's VNL 670 with cummins power and 2009 Great Dane reefers.

    James that truck broker is me, Marcel! LOL yes I may sell the Mack if I can get some stuff straighten. We have our truck sales dealer licens because we sell our trucks out of our reefer fleet direct to the public. FYI I will refuse to sell to a exporter. Only if I know the trucks stays in the states at a good home I will sell it.

    Welcome to the new world of the DOT in florida. Since they can stop now commercial vehicles there going bananas. This is what was parked today in front my office. I guess his printer overheated and cot fire when he printed all the bullshit citations. We'll I guess this troopers car is OUT OFF SERVICE!!!

    Today I closed a contrac with Chiquita banana hauling containers to Lakeland fl from miami port to deliver to the publix distribution center. So there is hope! 80) So here it's its power only one trip up and down to NC and than Wednesday Thursday and Friday miami Lakeland fl If any one is interested in driving for TLF transport my MH contact me! @ trans@tlofflorida.com

    It sucks we can't get more per mile but they keep raising the insurance like we produce gold!

    Randy with a depress market in heavy equipment and the truck to old for going over the road and out off state for the work we do, I need to make this decision. They jacked up my insurance at progressive up for the truck with $1100 per year from $4000 up to $5100. So this is becoming a to expensive hobby.

    I'm selling the truck because i can not put a driver on it to make money. They will not take care of it like i do. I'm buying more new trucks and can not afford the keep it just sitting and not producing.

    I'm selling my 1993 Mack MH 613 E9 V8. The truck is in great condition and have done the following: Complete new a/c system, New front tires, new air horns new marker lights fully services balanced and A lined. I'm asking $27,500. Engine and transmission a great condition. truck is work ready.

    Thanks guys, I got the Comdata Fuel cards now and all drivers have to impute truck nr and mileage when fuel up . So now I can track it thru actual fuel pumped, calculating the miles thru the advised apps. In a meeting with all our drivers I told them that high fuel consumption can cost big money to the company so implemented a fuel challenge who can get the best fuel mileage.
