  1. "If you know every labor law but never work..."
  2. You've earned every accolade that has been offered on this thread. A lot of work went into preserving a piece of our history, and you've created something you (and all of us) can be proud of. Can't thank you enough for doing the work and letting us ride along on the journey. I'd really love to see this thing in person some day.
  3. Wasn't there a different shape on the bottom of the U/DM driver's side door? Some sort of a contour that wasn't there on the F/R door? My memory is fuzzy on that, though.
  4. After my Mom retired, she said she didn't know how in the world she ever had time to work.
  5. That's a good, solid-looking truck, man! You know how I love the green dash stuff!
  6. Increase free pedal, correct. As clutches wear, the free travel gets less, making the pedal "tighter". So, yes, add free travel.
  7. I don’t know crap about this computerized stuff. But the OP’s question about the “unused sensor” and the question about the “derate” programming seem to deserve some thought. But, again, I don’t know s#!t about this one.
  8. Do you know if it is a single or double disc clutch? Mack clutch or Eaton/Spicer? That can make a huge difference in where to start. I posted some pages on here a while back showing how to adjust the linkage on a B model. Check out this link...
  9. "Sign, sign, everywhere a sign..." That's great stuff, right there! Doesn't seem like it was all that long ago, either. I sit and listen to the Sirius XM radio a lot. All that great stuff from the '60s, '70s, and (early!) '80s! The songs felt good. Nobody was hating anybody. Seemed like the artists were enjoying the music. Oh, and I could understand what they were saying! We could do a whole thread on old music! Anybody want to kick that one off? LOL!
  10. The only reason I still try to do whatever work I can still do is that I want it done right. I hate it when other people work on my stuff. They just don't take the same care with it that I do. I hate doing it. But, I hate having it messed up even worse!
  11. I hate it for everybody involved.
  12. There are a few roaming around town here lately too.
  13. That's not much life, considering the cost, for sure.
  14. They definitely have the same attitude in those pictures.
  15. This is Bo...
  16. Looks great to me, JoJo!
  17. That "load test" will frequently show you a bad battery that the static test won't. Great tip, Joe!
  18. Yep. More bacon.
  19. Dragging on the outer diameter…a distinct possibility. Or the throw out bearing is not pulling the fingers correctly. Either way, I think the trans is coming back out.
  20. Not a Marmon, but... Remember the Diamond Reo Raider that Will almost bought??? SQUIRREL!!!
  21. The Marmon mobile studio they used for filming Movin' On. And, on fire! Notice the Marmon matched the paint job on "Pigpen's" trailer... http://movinontvshow.com/
  22. Sounds like Yellow Freight (YRC, Holland, etc.) is in pretty bad shape again. Potential strike. Losing money. Can't pay back Covid bailout money. Doesn't sound good. Lots of jobs at risk.
  23. Hope it serves you well.
  24. Oh. Yeah. Sorry. I missed that. Too early in the morning.
