  1. When Jim put the bus axle under his B, he cut the middle and welded it back together. Might not have caught that in one of his post, but I did. I already have the budd hub setup for the rear axle, just trying to find something to convert the front.
  2. I was trying to download pics from my phone and it was giving me grief and that was the only one that made it. I can't wait to try it out on the road. I tested the brakes and it disengages it properly. They make a comment about LED bulbs and it not working correctly and you might have to install a std bulb in the system to get it to react. Since I have four LED taillights I guess it must be okay. I need to clip the excess cable off and make sure it doesn't get caught up in anything. It was really pissing me off last night when it kept shutting down and then wouldn't activate. Then it would sorta then kick off randomly, etc. It has a checklist for when stuff doesn't work but I couldn't figure out why suddenly I would have lost a ground? Ugh, that is when I looked at the voltmeter and saw it was going down below 12v. That is when it all clicked and I hooked up the battery charger and it worked flawless. Jeez o pete. The little bushing I made mimics the little sheetmetal tab that was on there for the hand throttle. I just made this out of a piece of 3/8" square stock. Milled a 1/4" hole and installed a nylon bushing(from home depot) for the cable to slide through. They give you an alum arm with bushing in it to use, but it won't work with my throttle linkage. All the pictures they give you with the instructions is all late model stuff. Go figure. I was also concerned originally about the release of the cable when you turn it off. It snaps off, like it has a locking paw that releases. Then you hear the servo motor run for 3-5 seconds, I guess to get it back to its starting point.
  3. Well i got it finished up and working. Made up my little bracket for cable and slip bushing for throttle. Got it adjusted and works fine. One note: make sure your batteries are up. Wow...i spent a few hours chasing my tail til I realized the batteries are down a bit and apparently it keeps track of input voltage and will shut off if under 12? volt, or whatever. It started messing with me and I couldnt figure it out. Hooked up battery charger and it works flawless. Go figure. Picture shows WOT.
  4. I need a Mack axle. Weight rating not critical for me. Has to be B model as R is wider.
  5. Ok mine has worked okay for years but it really leaks mid stroke. I pulled it apart and the rubber piston seal is near rock hard. Google turned nothing up. Anyone know where I might get a new seal? It is a Kysor D-11999. I will add pics later.
  6. I am just on the hunt for budd hub axle. Only problem is finding a one WITH brakes. I do have front brakes, as truck is a single axle.
  7. I fixed the link in my earlier post so that it goes DIRECTLY to website instead of through Facebook. I did that post on my phone and didn't realize it had to go to FB first. Ugh, go figure.
  8. Looks like it has brakes on it. That's what I'd like to find for my truck.
  9. Little aux's. are out there. Just have to find one. Gear Vendors are popular, but it won't give you a second stick. Pricey too. I was sniffing around one back when I had my new 2000 PSD 6spd dually. But at near $3K dollars it was out of my price range.
  10. The lady selling these shirts has these:
  11. Pretty nice shirts. Not bad for $15. I ordered the std shirt and then she said she messed up and sent me the wrong one. I told her I'd order the other one too(which I ordered two). They are Gildan, heavy cotton shirts. Not quite the quality of a $30 mack shirt, but for $15 I'll wear them.
  12. Hope this works: http://www.etsy.com/shop/MnMsShirtShop If you tell you want Larry's version it will be three sticks! She made it special for me. (I fixed the link so it is directly to website instead of Facebook)
  13. Oh like Budwieser?
  14. Check your facebook Tom. I linked your name to the psge.
  15. I got this from facebook. Showed up friday. I have them making me a custom "three stick" version!!
  16. Hmmm, I bet check them for RUNOUT!!!! Don't want them shaking while driving down the road..............
  17. I go over to the lake in the center of town(big pond more like it) at lunch and eat during the summer. Jeezus you should see how BAD some(most) of these drivers are at parallel parking. WOW> Real entertainment, just like watching a boat ramp on the weekend. I know my g/f is horrible at parking/backing up, she admits it. She cringes when I back my truck into tight spots and not hardly look over my shoulder. I tell her there are MIRRORS on the vehicle for a reason!
  18. Yup, I watch those Russian videos. Ya, glad I'm in Ohio(I guess?). Was down in Mexico a week back, wow, the drivers down there aren't much better. Road signs are just vague inferences to what you are suppose to do. BUT, I did notice the cops drive around at night with their flashers on constantly. Not really sure why? To be noticed? Kinda strange as cops around here hide in the dark til they spot you doing something wrong.
  19. "The smooth operation of applying power requires SKILL of the driver" (driving a stick shift) Whep, there's the problem. No skill present in today's society of drivers....... BillyT: One of those twin stick videos is of ME driving my truck. Ya, I see all kinds of comments posted about how unsafe, blah, blah, blah. Ok, whatever. I have a two handed version, but it is not posted anymore. I didn't post them actually, four other people did back when I made these videos 10 years ago(way before Youtube was around)
  20. ^^Why I don't want to put a dash cam in any of my vehicles unless the sound is muted......
  21. We have trailer races and stuff in America where you just do your best to absolutely destroy anything in front of you, but these guys are even more brutal!
  22. It's too bad that too many people wait til there is NOTHING left to finally "part with it".
  23. I still want a visor. Somehow, I need to make something up. I have access to a fab shop, I don't know what I'm waiting for?
  24. Ohhhh, they have MUCH more fun over yonder............
