  1. I'm still trying to figure out where the green wire with the white tracer goes???
  2. I'm almost done hooking up my new computer.......I'll be GLAD to help you make a harness for it............
  3. Doh!!! Never knew that. Wonder if I send him an email he would consider something like this??? Could you imagine the paperwork you would have to sign to clear away the lawsuits possible from it?
  4. This crap is WAY too entertaining. LOL!!! Damn they sure do know how to crash cars!! My neck hurts just watching it. Demo derbys are bad enough here, but these blokes do it at 60 mph. They also do it in Vans and Trucks too!!!
  5. ^^^Ding Ding Ding.................we have a winner!! Stupid people breed, giving us more stupid people. So the guberment thinks if the cars are smarter it will help. Ya, right. What happen to that guy driving the Tesla that ran broadside into a semi? Ya, how's that 'automated' driving stuff working out??
  6. Almost makes you wanna polish and chrome plate it doesn't it?? LOL!! Put mirrors on the ground so people can see it at shows!
  7. I saw both trucks at York. Man, they are BIG. Very cool.
  8. The one I have for my motor is the offset housing style, it drops it down out of the way more. I suppose these would fit, but not sure. I'm thinking Mack is 11 tooth?(have to count).
  9. I left my stock filter on the engine and just put a remote mount back by the tank with a spin on/separator filter to help. I suppose you could likely buy any remote mount and filter just like I did and put it anywhere you liked. Not sure if I would worry about the return line on the filter? Is that necessary, as there is a return line on the injection pump.
  10. Yup, got off the plane and it was blowing snow!! Ugh. But nice to be home and be able to talk to people!! I got some time on the cruise today. I got the wiring all finished up. It functions properly. I got the bracket finished for the cable mount on the air compressor. The cable housing is cut to length and just need to get the pump arm back on and cut the cable to fit. Pretty happy with how it all turned out. Can't wait for next spring to try it out. We got blasted with snow and the roads are a mess. I'm not taking the truck out til spring now.
  11. That goes along with the Mustang GT from years ago that had twin chrome stacks up the side. It was from Texas also..........
  12. There's the problem LOL!!! NO extra time.
  13. That's owned by Brayden Tucker at Tucker Equipment over in Lisbon, Ohio. I don't know where he finds some of this stuff. He comes across some neat things. Just saw a post about a little round nose flatbed he just picked up. Not that I need it in any way, but would be cool to pull around.
  14. Ok, have you tried slipping them on backwards to see if they go farther? That would get you a better view of the hub where it was covered up when installed the proper way. I was going to mention that one, til I saw you did.
  15. Just for this week! Glad to get home tomorrow and hear English for a change.
  16. Well Im in Meixco this week for work so maybe this weekend I can get back at it. I head home tomorrow. Not many Macks down here. Mostly Freightliners.
  17. Ya, one foot sleeve isn't much. Didn't realize you were that constrained with space between crossmembers. If you didn't want to uses spacers, then you could narrow the crossmember? I've seen where guys have cut out of the middle and welded them back together(stamped steel crossmember). I could see them put on a mill and run a 1/2"-5/8" end mill(whatever it took for twice the frame rail thickness) to divide them. Bevel the ends and clamp to a table and weld back together. Grind it and Presto a custom crossmember that would allow a sleeve to fit! Depends on how sneaky you want to get to save the big cost of complete new rails.
  18. Vlad, How about a sleeve on the inside of frame rail to help support the two halves? Bolt it in between two crossmembers, that way the inner rail butts up against the crossmembers and is less noticeable with the bunk over top of it.
  19. Ummmm, well, you're not going to be able to get across ANY body of water with a Porsche, so I suggest something a bit more utilitarian..... The final production design was perfected by a few engineers at Yellow Truck & Coach in Pontiac, Michigan. The vehicle was built by Yellow Truck and Coach Co.(GMC Truck and Coach Div. after 1943) at their Pontiac West Assembly Plant and Chevrolet Div. of General Motors Corp. at their St. Louis Truck Assembly Plant. 21,147 were manufactured before production ended in 1945.[6] So it was UNION built.
  20. I had plenty of time to tinker with the holiday off. Now back to the rat race. Maybe next weekend? or the one after.
  21. I wonder if it has to do with downloading them to the site. I typically use Photobucket to link pictures. That might be the problem. You only have so much server space PER person. Run that out and you can't download anymore. Just another reason to use a hosting site.
  22. Ya, good point. I was just listening to the servo motor and it ran for 1+ second. Maybe with some tension it will snap back quicker? Guess I'll find out.
  23. I upload right from my phone(motorola razr). I use the "choose file" link below and they upload quickly. Don't know about the fancier new smart phones? Maybe they have better cameras and take more file space? I've never downloaded the tapatalk feature. I typically don't use my phone to post, but does make it easier when I want to post a quick picture as I don't have to download to photobucket first.
  24. By the end of the evening last night I had it "functioning". I was able to get it to wind the cable up and return back by working the switches on the shifter. My big concern was cable travel. It only has 2" of travel. The stuff they give you to mount to most late model pumps makes it seem it has way more then that. I suppose the new pumps don't travel as far as mine does to get WOT. I was expecting to have to make a long arm to use most of the cable travel(what they recommend), but after getting it to function I was able to measure and realize it will be tight to get WOT with only 2" of travel. Measuring right at the pedal arm it is 2" for WOT. I'll be having to fab up something so the cable attaches at the same spot. I'm going to skip mounting the clutch pedal switch. It looks to be a PITA to mount and adjust since it is under the floor, behind the fender and above my fuel tank. Forget it. I will just have to use the switch on the shifter to shut if off BEFORE pushing the clutch. After seeing it in action, it is not a quick return to idle anyhow so if you did push the clutch it would not drop to idle quickly like a newer car does. By the looks it would take 1-2 seconds to drop to idle. After trying to get it to work I realized you have to ground that wire, you can't just leave it unhooked. Once I grounded it to the frame, the system functioned.
  25. Small steps. Unit mounted on frame. Making bracket for cable to mount to compessor. Made a small box for switches to mount on compound shifter for "easy reach" while driving. Few more wires to go.
