  1. Is that an LTL frame sitting next to it?
  2. Talking with a friend the other day, seems his buddy buys/sells/scraps stuff. Seems he came across a 237/5spd and sold it for $300!!! Not sure how wore out it was, but surely worth $300. I would definitely keep an eye out for a 237. Simple bolt in. I was on the look out for years, then this one fell in my lap.
  3. Dang Bob. I had some plans for that weekend, but need to see what I can do to adjust them. Hmmmmm. Would like to meet up with you(and others). The Ashland show is the only one I get to all year. Oh, don't let the chrome shell and shiny bumper fool ya. Well, don't feel left out if it does LOL!! I call it "Misdirection". Like a magician. Look over "HERE" and you won't notice the rust and crap over "THERE".
  4. Yup. Really cool piece.
  5. http://www.tenfourmagazine.com/2016/08/show-reports/a-pleasant-surprise/ Pretty neat little write up about our little show we have. My old jalopy even made the first picture! Guess expensive camera know how to cover up rust and grease 'cause it sure looks shiny. This was the slow truck race. I got "inched" out by John's even very slower moving B. Yes, that is Brockasaurus in the backround.
  6. It's only a 10 hr drive up there(plus border crossing). Someday maybe? I can't believe someone hasn't started something like that down here? Or is our sue happy society too strict to have that much fun out in the open?
  7. LOL! Ya, like that snow fence is going to stop 140K lb truck from crashing through.............
  8. Would love to get up to that show some time. Looks like a blast on video. One question: do they all speak French or can you get around with English well enough?
  9. Hmmm, a receiver hitch in the front, stick a pole in and we're ready for a party! OD...pick up some Winfall wimmen.
  10. Even comes with a patio on the front?
  11. Nothing a welder and some tin won't fix!
  12. 1984 Mack Superliner E6 350 with a 9 speed, camelback suspension many new items, tires etc $22000 http://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto/5690841689.html Not mine.
  13. I know back the first time I put valve cover gaskets on my 673 (about 2002), I grabbed a valve and gave it a wiggle. I just closed my eyes and glued the covers back on LOL!! See ran for another 14 yrs without issue. Mostly flat on the governor at 2100 rpm. Presently it is sitting next to the garage waiting to find a new owner.
  14. I was told you might want to get a hold of Dave Schroyer(or someone at Schroyers). He might be able to lead you toward finding some information.
  15. Ugh.........I've spent the last few years taking trees out at my house. Old Silver Maples that are just waiting to fall on my house/garage. Took care of most of them, but have a few left to get rid of. I like trees, just not near anything I cherish.
  16. That Pacific looks like a High Binder? Or did they use the same chassis/cab?
  17. "Spoiler Alert.........Spoiler Alert".............................LOL!! Guess I'll keep en eye out for the mailman this week.
  18. Floating along(bobtail)
  19. It doesn't hurt to have at least a COUPLE studs/nuts laying around. Mine lasted quite a while, then in a couple years popped two studs. Nothing tragic to replace, just weld a nut to the stud and unscrew it, but might save you some headaches later if it happens.
  20. Yes, they always say to leave some pedal, but hell, it wouldn't get anywhere if I did that. I ain't got that much time to get to the races. I might not have had it 100% on the floorboard, but likely 99.8% most of the time LOL!
  21. Find a pair of 5 hole budds, even if they are steel. I like the look. I've threatened to find budd hubs for my B but haven't found them, yet. If I could just get the old hubs cleaned up and painted again it wouldn't look so ragged. I painted them 15 yrs ago and they are just ugly now.
  22. Oh, that's who it was. Thanks.
  23. I'm thinking it was Dennis Wells from California? He's big into old Fords. Haven't heard from him in a few years, used to be pretty active on the ATHS forums.
  24. You can attach files from your computer or link them from Photobucket or the like.
  25. As I said....."supposedly". Not sure of anything.
