  1. "Spoiler Alert.........Spoiler Alert".............................LOL!! Guess I'll keep en eye out for the mailman this week.
  2. Floating along(bobtail)
  3. It doesn't hurt to have at least a COUPLE studs/nuts laying around. Mine lasted quite a while, then in a couple years popped two studs. Nothing tragic to replace, just weld a nut to the stud and unscrew it, but might save you some headaches later if it happens.
  4. Yes, they always say to leave some pedal, but hell, it wouldn't get anywhere if I did that. I ain't got that much time to get to the races. I might not have had it 100% on the floorboard, but likely 99.8% most of the time LOL!
  5. Find a pair of 5 hole budds, even if they are steel. I like the look. I've threatened to find budd hubs for my B but haven't found them, yet. If I could just get the old hubs cleaned up and painted again it wouldn't look so ragged. I painted them 15 yrs ago and they are just ugly now.
  6. Oh, that's who it was. Thanks.
  7. I'm thinking it was Dennis Wells from California? He's big into old Fords. Haven't heard from him in a few years, used to be pretty active on the ATHS forums.
  8. You can attach files from your computer or link them from Photobucket or the like.
  9. As I said....."supposedly". Not sure of anything.
  10. I did change it. But the ol 673 ran on the governor for many years without any problems. I drove it with my foot firmly planted on the floor, all day, every day at 2100 rpm. It's strange now, how I just feather the throttle to run along at speed. A little boost goes a LONG way.
  11. Must be how they got the "approval" to burn the flag? At least that is the story I heard last week. The Supreme court "allowed" it to happen, only problem was the city of Cleveland doesn't allow open flame. Oh darn.
  12. Strangely enough, only being less then an hour south of all this mayhem, I didn't really hear a word about it on the news all week. Pretty quiet actually. Come friday night I heard the RNC was over and everyone was going home. Huh? Oh, didn't realize it was over as I never heard anything about gang wars and cop shootings all week. I was thinking it would be HUGE news week with all the crap that was getting stirred up before hand. BUT, it was all over in the blink of an eye.
  13. The Ford: Doesn't someone from ATHS have one of these they are restoring? Twin engine Diamond T How's that for a face only a Mother could love??? I built this growing up. Wish it would have been real:
  14. That flag burning idiot, supposedly had some kind of official paperwork allowing him to burn a flag "as free expression". Only problem, you can't have an open fire in the city of Cleveland, thus they go arrested. If you think burning the flag is showing anything, then you need to find a new island and go live there. Let's see how you are doing in 5 years without any free hand outs?
  15. I've seen a Cheeseman truck in my travels around Ohio. A quick google brings me their website. Can't say I have any other information. Wonder if anyone in the Black Swamp or Cincinnati chapter would have known him? I know a few from Black swamp, but the Cincy Chapter I think is pretty thin these days and I don't really know anyone.
  16. When I popped a stud a few years ago, I bought 3-4 of them from Stanton Mack. Not sure how many are floating around anymore? I was going to check ARP to see if they had anything I could use, but didn't need to.
  17. Jay's didn't have a 427, it was a 7 Litre car(428). A friend does have this: Real factory built 427 car. He has the paperwork from the original owner down in GA? Somewhere down there.
  18. Honorable campaign? Who?? Not a single political candidate has EVER done that. LOL!!
  19. ^^LOL. I was thinking that same line.
  20. Some one else just posted about using a mobile device and had issues with the site. Sorry I can't help.
  21. http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/cto/5690564451.html 1966 MACK - $23500 (MANTUA, OH) 1966 B53 Mack 237 with 18 speed quad; shepherd in-box power steering with pump on back of air compressor; big B heater; 11" dry-type air cleaner; alternator; radiator re-cored; Mack camel-back with new urethane bushings; 4 maxi chambers; 573 ratio; new 11R22.5 caps on rear, fronts are 1200x20, 80%; heavy rear hitch with air and light plug; 15' Galion dump box with Rolls Rite electric tarper; extra 50 gallon fuel tank on left side with crank pump to haul off-road fuel to machinery, not plumbed to truck engine; truck has 50 gallon step tank left side, battery box right side; Viking t-bar driver's seat, extended rider's seat. Truck is very clean with one owner last 40 years. Always serviced and ready to go to work. Not mine.
  22. Vanishing Point. Ya, that was what I was thinking of first.
  23. Yup, the insane prices they get for GM SUVs (and pickups) is crazy. It might be more even against Ford today, but 15 years back the prices had quite a large gap in them. Where did I hear a new Escalade SUV is pushing 90K?
  24. Seems they used that view in a movie or two? Maybe not.
  25. Mark.............PICS OR YOU DON'T ACTUALLY OWN IT!! Come on, you know the rules!!!!! Very cool project. Just another one of my "wish lists". There was a 50's GMC for sale locally, 671/4spd. I bet they were really hard to get moving on any kind of grade and slow to accelerate with only 4 gears. Still cool looking. I have a 6041 4spd in my truck. I think it is only rated at like 200 hp. I can get you some basic dimensions. I know it has 2.19 low hole in it. But you can't shift out of it while moving basically(it is only progessive in 3 gears).
