  1. You beat me to it Terry. I was like...."that's Terry's truck"....
  2. LOL...,this came up on my feed today.....LMAO. (No women on here to worry about being offended)
  3. I used to be in a local July 4 th parade years back. Had about 5 trucks from local chapter get in it. The g/f always loved doing it and wishes we could do them again. It was always tough as we'd get home from my race at like 2am, sleep for 3 hrs and get up and get to the staging for the parade. She likes throwing candy to the kids and waving to everyone. I'd run the air compressor ragged with the constant horn blowing.
  4. The actual radiator or just the chrome shell? My shell comes off easily. The small radiator should be easy. The large version, like I have, takes some finesse because it is a very snug fit inside the outer collar.
  5. I know the throttle is actually sprung wide open and the large return spring returns it back to idle. I know this because the big spring broke one day and awwwwaay I went!!! Until I pulled the shut down. What exactly are you referring to? The little box on the side that has the linkage arm sticking out?
  6. Just the fender is clumsy enough but add the inner fender and it's going to get real awkward for one person especially if you care about the paint!
  7. I think he was with the "purge" and no longer around.
  8. Ya, don't hate the sticks but would like something not so plum wore out! 13 spd would be cheaper and easier to get. Unless someone has a good triplex and i could go through it and not spend millions of dollars!
  9. Ive been busy and not as regular here as I have been.
  10. I really like my Triplex and 237. Though I can't lug it like the motor could go, I like the splits in 4th and 5th. I don't need to split 2nd or 3rd. I'd like to find a 13 spd for it someday.
  11. Been checking in regularly and glad you gave us a heads up Jeff. Thanks.
  12. Wow.. that is a lot of What the heck is going on there? Especially since it only has a NTC350. The stretched it at the nose instead of the cowl.
  13. I think of this everytime this is mentioned. Monty Python Twit of the year. Go to 3:00 mark for the gun portion. The whole thing is funny as hell!!
  14. I've seen B models running with top fender panels off. I'd guess most were V8 trucks? My 237 doesn't get hot at all.
  15. It was a 12v generator originally, now it has a 12v alternator. The running system was 12v. It took the two 6v batteries on each side and put them in series for 12v to run the truck. The S/P switch make them all in series to make 24v for the starter. It gave better cranking amps to start using 6v batteries. Now it is obsolete. The 24v start was good for the day but could be finnicky. I changed mine out the first year due to not being reliable. Now I put air starter on it! Just because they are cool.
  16. Extended Service Interval. Had three filters and a larger oil pan for more capacity to go longer on oil changes.
  17. I'd say it was converted to alternator. Looks like it was done like I did mine. Just a spacer pipe on the original bracket.
  18. Watts had them, I got the chrome ones years ago for my truck.
  19. Wouldn't the three filters be an "ESI" option? Std is 2 filters?
  20. Great find!! For the money it looks like you have an awesome project on your hands. The old timers here will remember Rob buying his water wagon about 10 yrs ago? Maybe more? Can't recall if his was a V8? I come over to Beaver Springs once a year for the FE reunion race. It's in your neck of the woods off 522 and 235.
  21. Spokes? Don't the 11.00/22 convert to 11r 24.5 rims? 10.00/20 convert to 22.5. As for Double coin tires? I do run chinese tires on my trailer(15") but I replace them after 5 yrs. I don't know if I want to cut corners to just have to replace them sooner? I think it all boils down to personal preference. I don't mind spending a bit more to feel more comfortable(reliable) with something other then a "cheap" chinese tire.
  22. 56 yrs old. Ya, I hope to not have to buy anymore of these tires? Though the fronts are now 9 yrs old, so maybe 10 yrs til I do them again, "if" I still have the truck and use it the way I do. Some guys would scoff at spending too much money on a "toy" but mine has to be dependable so I feel it is a necessity. I put 6 new trailer tires on every 5 yrs, without a second thought(though I do get them for like $75 a pc). They don't make 6 yrs without failing so I just replace them before I have change one at 2 am on a road somewhere.
  23. As jacked up as I am, I'm really struggling with doing it myself to save the money. I'm at that point that you have to just say "screw it" and pay da man!
