  1. Convertor dolly, some welding and PRESTO-CHANGO you can pull anything LOL!!!
  2. I have mine through State Farm. I used to just have std insurance(not commercial) and it was like $350/yr? Something like that. I switched it to Historical and it's cheap.
  3. Here is mine with suspension removed: That is the front crossmember for the front spring mounts. The rear spring mount area is partially cut off, but you can just see an outline on the last 2" of frame. The previous owner had welded a large piece of channel across the back for a pintle hitch. It was easier to just cut it all off then try to reuse it. Here is a link to my project. Other pictures might help http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/16282-adding-air-ridestretching-frame/?hl=stretch
  4. Fire truck. Red lights in the front.
  5. Imagine telling someone you drive a crackerbox. They just kinda chuckle.............then you whip out that picture and suddenly there is silence in the room. LOL!! I'll take the '67 GP sitting next to it!!
  6. Maybe it's a lightweight triple frame?? LOL!
  7. Pleasant city....just under 1.5 hr south of me for the B. I'm at exit 113, it's at exit 37. That picture had to be taken last fall. We haven't seen the ground much here since Dec. The R700 is about an hour.
  8. 673 came with or without. Mine looks identical, with twin intake set up. Suppose to be 187 hp instead of 170 like the single intake set up. The turbo was 205 hp. Looking at the far right, the front end cover of accy drive(right below the missing fuel filter canister), should be stamped 673P across the top.
  9. Definitely a face only a mother could love LOL!! The back of the cab looks decent.
  10. Looks like 673P.
  11. Ahhh, 615. Thanks. Knew 61sumthin was a V8.
  12. Just asking...is a B613 a V8?
  13. Simply badazz!! Love it. only thing it needs is a Mercury sleeper.
  14. Not the first time that has happened, seems there was a video like this before. Call it "hazards of the job". You know the drivers were laughing on the radio.........saying "watch this"....................... Instead of a simple horn blow to warn them.
  15. The hand throttle cable clamps to the left of the pump. Then then the cable goes THROUGH an eyelet on the throttle arm and an adjustable pin is slipped and clamped so that it does not contact the throttle when at idle(you can see the gap in mine). But when you pull the hand throttle, it pulls on the eyelet on the throttle arm. The shut off works similarly, the cable is clamped like shown and the shut off arm has the clamp screw built into it.
  16. You would THINK the camera man or the producer would have signaled him?? Maybe a simple..."walk this way" kinda motion? Orrrrr, maybe just let him get blasted and laugh at him. Yup, that's a better idear LOL!
  17. Only shot I have handy. Not sure why I took it, but it just shows shut off. Here is a side shot:
  18. Speaking of Pacer..............saw one just the other day across town. Sitting in a business parking lot. Pretty nice looking(okay, that's a stretch, but it was in good shape), maroon, I think with woodgrain and alum wheels. Mighta been a wagon too? I was in such awe I forget the details.
  19. I'm thinking, other then Reverse, you can drive it like a 5spd empty(leave compound in DIRECT). Just remember, the shifts are really slloooowwwwww between gears. Once in neutral gate take a bite of sandwich or drink of coffee, then slip into next gear.
  20. Nothing worse then some "singer" or group putting their own twist on the National Anthem. Sing it like it is suppose to be sung. Don't try to be "different". Local country station used to have the national anthem on every morning at 7am. I had my alarm set for that time, so the radio would kick on. They were sung by various artists, all done solo with no music. Most were just horrible sounding and I finally changed my alarm so I would not have to hear it. Maybe they would sound better in a stadium?
  21. Those same kinda people can't see how I backed my trailer under my carport years ago in the dark. If I kept it close to the left side, then I have PLENTY of room on the right side. I guess they think the trailer grows wider when you can't see it in the mirror??? LOL!
  22. Yup, got my foot stuck in the fan and smack'n on the shifter......................come on mule, Ya!...................................LOL!!
  23. I do that in my B model, sometimes LOL!! On level ground it will run 75mph with my trailer. I get thumbs up and chatter on the radio when I roll past some large cars cruis'n the slow lane. I use up all 180 hp I got!
  24. That video was on the Old truck forum getting rip'd apart a few months ago. Shameful what they did to that truck. "Hold my beer and watch this. I'll get that truck loaded if it's the last thing I do"
  25. Sadly I have to give the guy some kind of credit. He IS trying with what little knowledge he has.
