  1. I think that rig is outta East Canton. They have a shop on Rt 30, at the top of the hill west of town. They usually have a few R models out by the road. Never seen this beast before! If not, it is painted just like the place in East Canton.
  2. Drill out to 5/16"-18? that takes a .257 drill, so that is just over the existing 1/4-20.
  3. rust free cab!!! Front budd hubs? Someday.............................
  4. Sounds like an old Roadway truck?
  5. I guess that is close to what my 42" bentz weighs.
  6. Neither of my cables have ends on the casing. Just cut off like a mower throttle cable. Looks like you just need to revise the clamps so that it will actually grab the casing.
  7. Yours should basically look like mine. I would get a new clamp for the shut off cable that will actually grip the casing. For the hand throttle just duplicate the bracket like mine and you should be good.
  8. So typical. Who ever remembers to reach in and set the brakes??
  9. Welcome to the "other" jungle Tom.
  10. I ran alt wire directly back to solenoid on starter, #6 I think? Bigger the better. I just hooked the voltmeter onto the ignition switch so that it comes on with key, and ground to cab. Pretty sure I just taped off the alt wires and left them alone. Been 12 yrs, so details are fuzzy.
  11. Looks like metal mice got ahold of those frame rails LOL!!!
  12. Convertor dolly, some welding and PRESTO-CHANGO you can pull anything LOL!!!
  13. I have mine through State Farm. I used to just have std insurance(not commercial) and it was like $350/yr? Something like that. I switched it to Historical and it's cheap.
  14. Here is mine with suspension removed: That is the front crossmember for the front spring mounts. The rear spring mount area is partially cut off, but you can just see an outline on the last 2" of frame. The previous owner had welded a large piece of channel across the back for a pintle hitch. It was easier to just cut it all off then try to reuse it. Here is a link to my project. Other pictures might help http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/16282-adding-air-ridestretching-frame/?hl=stretch
  15. Fire truck. Red lights in the front.
  16. Imagine telling someone you drive a crackerbox. They just kinda chuckle.............then you whip out that picture and suddenly there is silence in the room. LOL!! I'll take the '67 GP sitting next to it!!
  17. Maybe it's a lightweight triple frame?? LOL!
  18. Pleasant city....just under 1.5 hr south of me for the B. I'm at exit 113, it's at exit 37. That picture had to be taken last fall. We haven't seen the ground much here since Dec. The R700 is about an hour.
  19. 673 came with or without. Mine looks identical, with twin intake set up. Suppose to be 187 hp instead of 170 like the single intake set up. The turbo was 205 hp. Looking at the far right, the front end cover of accy drive(right below the missing fuel filter canister), should be stamped 673P across the top.
  20. Definitely a face only a mother could love LOL!! The back of the cab looks decent.
  21. Looks like 673P.
  22. Ahhh, 615. Thanks. Knew 61sumthin was a V8.
  23. Just asking...is a B613 a V8?
  24. Simply badazz!! Love it. only thing it needs is a Mercury sleeper.
  25. Not the first time that has happened, seems there was a video like this before. Call it "hazards of the job". You know the drivers were laughing on the radio.........saying "watch this"....................... Instead of a simple horn blow to warn them.
