  1. I've had mine for 8-10 yrs, so he may be out of the kits?
  2. "JODY"........doh, sorry about that. Fingers are moving quicker then the brain. Looking forward to the FE Reunion. The ol Mack will be there! Get Beaver Bob to let your dad take mine down the track!! That will wow the crowd. It will all come back to him........
  3. Jodie?? Is that you? I saw the name and just had to ask.
  4. I highly doubt it. Even if you remove the shifter towers, I don't think there is enough room to raise the lids and get the shift forks out without running into the bottom of the floor.
  5. I don't mind the foot controls(even though that is all Ive ever run), but the bad part is they are touchy sumbitches. You can't ease up anything. It's all UP or nut'n. Real PITA when you using the forks to load something or set something softly. Of course this machine is run hard/put away wet so it is plenty wore out.
  6. The main center panel is the only removable piece. The rest is welded in solid. I added a piece of 1" sq tubing to support the front seat brackets. Since I could not put any rolls in the metal to make it more rigid. I put the floor back in with three pieces, kinda like the factory did. Plus I had to be able to slip them around under the lip for the removable panel. I remade that lip also. Looks factory fresh enough for me.
  7. I bought my chrome riser from Matt Phal. Kit came with new small cap painted black. I used my big cap. No pipe I found comes in the right size to fit.
  8. I'm just interested in how they hook the column back up? I guess there is a coupler(that little red Spicer box) you weld on the shaft once you cut it off the original box? Just curious. I'd love to have some kind of steering assist, but I removed my generator many years ago.
  9. Matt Pfhal has the chrome extension to raise the hat up. It comes with the smaller hat. I like my big hat, so used it instead. The big hat, mounted on the cleaner would get whacked by the vent window if you opened the door with the vent swung open. My hat had a large dent in the rim from 40+yrs. I got it straightened and reinstalled. If someone needs a new small hat, I have one available.
  10. Buddy has an older 825? Two buckets, forks, tracks, NO HEAT or AC though LOL!! Man, that thing is as handy as a shirt pocket! Love borrowing it. His was a rental unit originally, think he paid about $10K for it. Don't want to know the prices today!! I know every little trinket that breaks is $300 on up.
  11. Simply badazzz!!!! Great video. Love the truck....and very jealous LOL.
  12. Always used some quick heat on the old ford twin I beam pins in my pickups. Got to heat quick(big torch) or it will soak in and expand the pin too.
  13. Welcome aboard!! Love the ol cabover camper.
  14. Love to actually see a truck do this. Hear all the stories. I just have to put up with a smoke mirror and some soot for me LOL!
  15. Simply BADDAZZ Trent! Wonder what it would take to get a B model cab?
  16. Shot blast the gears and run it. Don't think the extra "oil pockets" in the gear teeth will hurt anything. It's called extra lubrication LOL!! Unless the surface rust has gotten under the case hardening and will allow premature wear? You plan on lots of driving? Though in HI gear, the front box is running direct through(the cluster is not under load) so those gears are not really too much of an issue. The hard part of going fast with a 9.x rear gear is the fact I don't know how well it will put up with running it at "X" rpm faster then normal trying to get yourself faster with more OD in the transmission. Don't know, but is the TD37 the small box, kind of like the baby quad for the early gassers? Is the TRD720 the small box also? I'm thinking(no books to look at) it is the big box thus nothing would interchange?
  17. That's some funny stuff!!! Somehow I knew it was coming just by the way the cop was looking around. Then, YUP, just like I thought.
  18. Got plenty of work in the garage, it's even heated, but I just can't make myself want to go out when it's -10* outside. My get-up-and-go has got-up-and-went....................
  19. Very nice website. I agree, on the thought of putting your location and number on the front page. Makes it much easier for someone surfing to see your basic information without having to click on links. Even though you have a green highlighted link right there(though that link is only an email). For instance, in smaller text under your ENE Motors in the white area at the top of the screen.
  20. Fastest dirt delivery in the county LOL!
  21. Have you called State Farm? Don't know if they have age restrictions? I know insurance usually is cheaper for 25+ yrs old.
  22. I had to choke the other morning when the 8am news came on the radio on the way to work. Big "Breaking News" noise was playing and it was all serious like. I was thinking to myself, "hmmm, plane crash, school shooting, president killed?". Nope, they announced Justin B had been arrested for drag racing. Really? WTF, that is "breaking news". I didn't really think so, but I suppose the media does? Oh for shame. Then the late night shows got ahold of it and tore it up. Leno made some joke about "60 mph in a Lambo?. I hope he knows it has a seond gear?" LOL!!
  23. Didn't Brown also make trailers? The tractor was short lived if I recall. Or am I confusing things?
  24. Sister to Sum Hung Lo?
  25. I guess when I "reman" the race car motor and spend $5-7K for a "hobby", I suppose $11K for something that MAKES YOU MONEY isn't all that bad LOL!! There again, I don't do much to the race car anymore. I run'r forever.............
