  1. All fuel trucks are set up with front exhaust. Guess they worry about heat and sparks.
  2. Toterhome!!! Be really gutless with that 3208 though(and the automatic). Have to upgrade the power.
  3. Look'n brand spank'n new!!! Nice work. (just watch for Ken..........with ALL them sideways pictures he may pop a blood vessel)
  4. Neat lil tractor. Must have something big under the hood? I see lots of little pusher fans in front of the radiator. Plus the added cooling hole in the top of the bumper. I like the interior layout with the console and the flamed door panels. Like the frenched in lights in the rear frame too!
  5. Those APU are nice, but kinda spendy from what I have seen. Used ones might not be so great either due to mechanical costs to fix them when they break. I suppose if you walked into a good deal, I wouldn't say no. I have no first hand use of one, but just from reading on the forums.
  6. I took one of those Lowes educational wiring seminars and I is an electrician now.
  7. Just a little pic of the wiring in my trailer..............just to get you started. Just hook power to the blue wire with red tracer.................... Buwhahahahahahahahaha
  8. Shouldn't the "L" mean lightweight components. Brackets and such even if not alum. frame.
  9. "BFH" works every time
  10. Wow...bet those would light your world up. My current Halogens are still candles at night, especially in the rain. The high beams are super bright, but the low beams are just slightly above 6v sealed beams. If it wasn't for my Perlux, I would be driving blind. Currently don't have $1K for a pair of headlights.
  11. Ya everyone knows me when I show up. Lots of attention on the highway too. Will never be as comfy as my dually but it is getting there.
  12. Yup, when I had my new 2000 PSD, it would run circles around my B pulling the same trailer. I could run up Fancy Gap at 55+ mph, just feathering the throttle in 6th gear(OD). I'm pretty sure the ol B would be struggling at 35 mph LOL!
  13. How I did my race trailer. Two deep cycles to run the lights, radio and winch, plus it powers the control circuit of the frig. The frig I have 120v/gas, along with my hot water tank. That way I can run either way(depending if I have power or not). Little more money for both, but better for "camping" situation when you don't have shore power. You can use invertors to turn your 12v to 120v, but I would not suggest it. You have to control your usage and then run the generator to recharge the batteries(more then 1-2 or them to get good longevity). Get yourself a good, quiet generator, that way you can run it day/night. I got my older Onan RV unit for $500. You will need to get a fuel tank for it and make sure you have enough gas for long stays. If you want heat and a/c, get a roof mount unit and then you will need the genset to power it. You could also get a house unit and mount it in the wall, then use portable electric heater for heat if you need it. I put a long 30amp twist lok cord on the front of my trailer and plug it into the generator on the truck. I installed a remote start inside the trailer and run a separate smaller cord for that. That 30amp cord comes to a small circuit box in the trailer that everything comes to. The 12v stuff is all on a small car type fuse panel next to the batteries. If you are around sometime, stop at the house and look at my trailer.
  14. "It's just a truck".........................................(that is the common notion)
  15. Looks like someone just welded the original 4" stack upright into the 5" chrome duals set up. Wondered too about the single stick. No flipper for 10spd, didn't think about 237 repower. Definitely a spotter fifth wheel. Wonder why the whole bottom of the cab has "new" panel? They get rusty, but never seen one with that big of a repair panel.
  16. Apparently you haven't driven a B model lately LOL!!!! What I wouldn't do to have double my present HP rating. Truck look good though!!
  17. Welcome aboard. Very nice work!!
  18. Pictures from 50ft away ALWAYS makes things look good!! (ok, the muffler strap and drywall screws is a stretch, but mine is not pristine in any sense of the word) My fenders are super nice, but hood/cab/doors need replaced. I have another hood, I have NOS door shells, just need a cab.
  19. CRAP>......if mine ever looks that good LOL!!! You definitely have the benefit of having a nice, clean, rust free cab to start with. Mines held together with muffler straps and drywall screws LMAO!!! If I could find a nice cab to put my NOS door shells on. Man, I'd be a happy camper.
  20. Does it include corn??????? LoL......
  21. Yup that is my kinda truck too. Love then A models.
  22. Not bad looking for the money. Wonder about the motor. Looks kinda like my 673p as it does not have oil cooler either. Water neck is odd though.
  23. They learn by watching..................so you know what that means....................................LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. Somethings "value" is what someone else will give you for it. Sometimes that a hard pill to swallow.
  25. Banned???
