  1. I'm just interested in how they hook the column back up? I guess there is a coupler(that little red Spicer box) you weld on the shaft once you cut it off the original box? Just curious. I'd love to have some kind of steering assist, but I removed my generator many years ago.
  2. Matt Pfhal has the chrome extension to raise the hat up. It comes with the smaller hat. I like my big hat, so used it instead. The big hat, mounted on the cleaner would get whacked by the vent window if you opened the door with the vent swung open. My hat had a large dent in the rim from 40+yrs. I got it straightened and reinstalled. If someone needs a new small hat, I have one available.
  3. Buddy has an older 825? Two buckets, forks, tracks, NO HEAT or AC though LOL!! Man, that thing is as handy as a shirt pocket! Love borrowing it. His was a rental unit originally, think he paid about $10K for it. Don't want to know the prices today!! I know every little trinket that breaks is $300 on up.
  4. Simply badazzz!!!! Great video. Love the truck....and very jealous LOL.
  5. Always used some quick heat on the old ford twin I beam pins in my pickups. Got to heat quick(big torch) or it will soak in and expand the pin too.
  6. Welcome aboard!! Love the ol cabover camper.
  7. Love to actually see a truck do this. Hear all the stories. I just have to put up with a smoke mirror and some soot for me LOL!
  8. Simply BADDAZZ Trent! Wonder what it would take to get a B model cab?
  9. Shot blast the gears and run it. Don't think the extra "oil pockets" in the gear teeth will hurt anything. It's called extra lubrication LOL!! Unless the surface rust has gotten under the case hardening and will allow premature wear? You plan on lots of driving? Though in HI gear, the front box is running direct through(the cluster is not under load) so those gears are not really too much of an issue. The hard part of going fast with a 9.x rear gear is the fact I don't know how well it will put up with running it at "X" rpm faster then normal trying to get yourself faster with more OD in the transmission. Don't know, but is the TD37 the small box, kind of like the baby quad for the early gassers? Is the TRD720 the small box also? I'm thinking(no books to look at) it is the big box thus nothing would interchange?
  10. That's some funny stuff!!! Somehow I knew it was coming just by the way the cop was looking around. Then, YUP, just like I thought.
  11. Got plenty of work in the garage, it's even heated, but I just can't make myself want to go out when it's -10* outside. My get-up-and-go has got-up-and-went....................
  12. Very nice website. I agree, on the thought of putting your location and number on the front page. Makes it much easier for someone surfing to see your basic information without having to click on links. Even though you have a green highlighted link right there(though that link is only an email). For instance, in smaller text under your ENE Motors in the white area at the top of the screen.
  13. Fastest dirt delivery in the county LOL!
  14. Have you called State Farm? Don't know if they have age restrictions? I know insurance usually is cheaper for 25+ yrs old.
  15. I had to choke the other morning when the 8am news came on the radio on the way to work. Big "Breaking News" noise was playing and it was all serious like. I was thinking to myself, "hmmm, plane crash, school shooting, president killed?". Nope, they announced Justin B had been arrested for drag racing. Really? WTF, that is "breaking news". I didn't really think so, but I suppose the media does? Oh for shame. Then the late night shows got ahold of it and tore it up. Leno made some joke about "60 mph in a Lambo?. I hope he knows it has a seond gear?" LOL!!
  16. Didn't Brown also make trailers? The tractor was short lived if I recall. Or am I confusing things?
  17. Sister to Sum Hung Lo?
  18. I guess when I "reman" the race car motor and spend $5-7K for a "hobby", I suppose $11K for something that MAKES YOU MONEY isn't all that bad LOL!! There again, I don't do much to the race car anymore. I run'r forever.............
  19. I've had issues with attaching pictures from home. Brings up the window to paste the link, then just locks up. Seems okay at work? Guess I need to surf the web at work more often LOL!!
  20. My rear air ride came with a 5/8" plate for pintle hitch, fully welded. Though it does not have the tapered ends like a typical tractor does. When I was done, I cut a hole for a receiver hitch and then put triangle gussets on the inside to support it. I then welded hanging D rings under the bottom for chains.
  21. Looks like you had "viscosity breakdown"? Sounds like me usually, it can be a PITA, but at least it all worked out good in the end.
  22. That big Ford was kicking butt. The that R model International and the old Fleetstar!!
  23. The Rockford show, he is driving a VEGA...go figure he can't outrun the Mack LOL!! Of course the Mack sounds just like the soundtrack from Duel.
  24. Mac trailers, right out there on State Street/Rt 62. Go by it every time I go over to Quakercity raceway in Salem, Ohio. Yup, GMC, "professional grade" at work right there.............
  25. Friend has a '68 D100 since the late 70's. We hauled a lot of stuff in that truck and the cabs are pretty roomy(Or maybe I was just really small back then?). Had a slant Tic and 3spd on the column. Hydraulic clutch that gave him nothing but fits for years.
