  1. Well, I stopped and saw it today. Ugh, it's not real purdy up close. Got a turbo motor, but doors are bad, cab is rough, towing bed is ehhhh? Some holes in it. Lots of bodywork was done many years ago, lucky it was kept dry. I'm going to try to get there next Saturday to see what it brings. I'm thinking it won't go too high unless someone really wants it. Ken also stopped and took pics.
  2. I still have an antenna ROTOR!!! Yup, unhooked my Dish and put a stick on the roof for FREE TV!!!! Yup, the box goes clunk, clunk as it spins around LOL!! I think of the 70's alot anymore. Maybe it wasn't "Better", but sure seems by todays standards. I still remember getting the first fax machine at work and the owners finally being able to go one a one week vacation to Florida. Though we had to fax daily reports down so they could see what was going on. Today, they go for 3-4 months at time LMAO!!! Times have changed. I still have the company "Bag phone" in my office. Just a little reminder. Man, what the last 25 yrs have changed in the world.
  3. I have a metal shed that came with a big bag'o screws. Man, what a bitch that was.....LOL!! Even worse when we had a big storm and a 12ft tree limb fell 40ft and went through the roof DOH!! Speaking of 10 million screws: There is a redhead talking to a blonde. The redhead says "I just screwed a Brazilian". The blonde says " You whore" with a puzzled look on her face. Then the blonde asks "How many is a Brazilian?"
  4. ^^This. I turned my Dish off over a year ago> I haven't miss ONE of these totally rediculous shows yet. Ugh, the humanity.
  5. We have a very famous saying here at work. "I didn't think it'd hold" LMAO!!! A shipping guy at work, 20 yrs ago, sent a salesman off in the company pickup with a part strapped to a skid. Salesman didn't make the onramp and the part fell off skid and slid over to side of truck bed. He came back and shipper said "I didn't think it'd hold"> WTF?? Why did you send it out for?? Oh, the humanity.
  6. It's bad when you try to hap hazardly try to scratch out the name on the picture. Nothing like saying "I'm stealing this" LOL!! He would have been better to save and crop the picture at least it would have not been so blatantly noticable
  7. Nope, same contact numbers: CALL Charles 602-300-5851 charles 602 3oo585l First on says buddy's truck(thus the wrong model/year). Looks like "buddy" then put it up also. Very clean sleeper model! Don't find them very often.
  8. Yup, that's him. Been to Stuart, Fla once back 25 yrs ago. Stayed at Marina Point, it was owned by Bill Haines of Haines company(maker of Criss cross directory). Right on the Inland waterway, stayed up at the Penthouse. Glass walls in the bathroom, you could watch the boats as you were on the crapper!!! LOL!!! Bill was friend of friend and we spent a weekend at his place. His headquarters is right here in N. Canton, Ohio. Just few miles from my house.
  9. Last summer I checked on new 22.5's for front of my truck, as I thought maybe mine were junk. Ugh, was going to be about $400 each out the door. HOLY crap!! I paid $250 each back in 2002.
  10. There's a fellow in the ATHS that is in Florida, someplace. He's a big GMC fan, Generals and Crackerboxes. Goes by Crackerbox Bob on ATHS site.
  11. Hopefully the Rexroth hydraulic stuff isn't as pricey as their servo drive stuff!! We have a CNC full of Rexroth stuff and WOW....they are proud of that stuff when it comes time to fix them.
  12. Looks like it was playing Jingle Balls???????? LOL!! Must still feel in the Christmas spirit??
  13. Isn't that was a relay valve is for? Making it react quicker? Put a large volume out to a valve , then use a small amount to control it. I grasp the concept of how the brakes work(on train and trucks) for the most part. I still marvel at how accurately these valves work back and forth. I remember back in the early days of the steel wheel dolleys on trucks, some even had flat pads that the wheels dropped through. That is how I can tell if a trailer is really old. I have also seen the automatic dollys work.
  14. Sumthin along these lines.......... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mack-Trucks-Lighted-sign-W-emblem-New-21x21x5-inch-eaton-twin-stack-econoliner-/130849987954?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e77445d72
  15. So, you would have to air up the trailer to keep it in place to back under it again(I assume the tank would bleed down over time)? Or would you still be able to slip under without it moving? Inquiring minds........
  16. Two dimensions: Big and Heavy. Can't see it fitting in much of anything smaller then a B model to begin with. I know the Detroit crowd sticks theirs in pickups, but a 4banger is much smaller.
  17. Now that's road service!! Thanks Hat.
  18. Like to have something to mount to the outside front wall of garage? I think it would be pretty cool.
  19. Apprarently you don't know the super duper super secret handshake???
  20. I'm thinking it's a single axle. Don't think he had any tandems. General Towing had the "big boys" along with Oscars Towing back in the day. Wished I took pictures of all the stuff those two had back in the 70's. I need to get on Ron and see if he will dig up pictures for me.
  21. If they are tapered pins, they should come out easy enough. Had my truck apart in less then 3hrs, starting with jacking it up. Got to strip the spindles down to bare bones. With enough big tools from mechanic, it should go quickly. I didn't have any "big" tools back then. Yours might be a bit harder, but should be doable.
  22. Oh crap..........it is Friday and I just don't wanna think hard enough LMAO!!!!
  23. Same kinda scam here locally. News reports that you get a call saying your "xxx" was in an accident, but they are holding them hostage and you need to send money. One guy picked up his cell phone and called wifes cell and found her at work, okay. They have not been able to catch them yet. They are getting ruthless.............
  24. Well...hmmmm, guess that throws that out da window?? Most I have seen were like that. I wonder if there is more to it?? Like 72"20", meaning two digits on the end for double OD? 720 would be single over? My triplex is TRT 720.
