  1. will also make things sliiiiiiiiide on out.
  2. Vlad, you spray the interior of the bed to keep material from freezing to bedsides while in transport. Makes things slide out when you dump.
  3. Well, it's been near 6-7 yrs since I've seen him or the truck. Owner was Terry Green, owner of Green Truck lines of Malvern, Ohio. He has retired and I think sold off the company. The truck was very nicely done, red/black, called it Mongo.
  4. Local guy has a gasser B(not sure what model/engine), he pulls a set of lil double flats. Very, very nice truck. He is very limited on road speed and it's VERY thirsty.
  5. Yup, seen a R model conversion before. Just wondered if the steering box was mounted the same, as it looks like the angle is different, thus they needed the bend to adjust for it?
  6. Ya, back in the day, BCR converts your B into an R model. The only issue I see with someone putting a B onto an R chassis is the fact the front axle is too wide and the tires stick out. Livable, seen a few like that. Just not my cup of tea. The ones I've seen have jacked the cab up a few inches to clear stuff.
  7. Mack looks like a Peterbuilt? Huh?? Say what????? Brings me to mind of Happy Gilmore, with that guy trying to kill Happy. Always yelling "Jackass!!"
  8. Ok, question of the day. The steering column in the B753, it has the unique column(I suppose for a concave cab) even though it has std cab. What would it take to convert one? I have a column like that, wondered if I could cut/weld the shaft and retrofit it into my truck? Make some more room. Or, is it the fact the cab is forward and this moves the column up.
  9. Without a limited slip rearend, I always kinda rode the brakes lightly to try to force the power to the wheel with traction. Gets you going sometimes. No doubt, someone was looking over your shoulder when the cop drove away without looking at anything. Sometimes you're the dog, sometimes your the hydrant.
  10. I wonder if that came from that old Junkyard Wars show??? Lets see, we have a frame, cab, motor and some scrap steel and we need to build a truck LOL!!
  11. Still good here in Canton, Ohio. Nothing overnight. Might come later? Tom, if you sneak through the area, stop by and I'll buy ya a cup of coffee. I'm off til Jan 2nd.
  12. Very nice! I'd be think'n my heart rate would be slightly "up" LOL!! My normal Dr. is pretty cool guy, he reminds me constantly that I'm in much better shape then most of his patients. I still have to walk him through a DOT physical. Seems I'm the only one he ever does? I'm due for a new card this spring, not looking forward as usual. Will we have to worry about the wallet card anymore since it now has to be tied to your drivers license? Where can I get an official blank wallet card? I'm out of them, and not sure my buddy has anymore either.
  13. Wow...that thing does looks as dry/clean as a C model can get!! Not beat up or rotted out? Very nice survivor.
  14. The Mayan calender..................
  15. Yup, same sheet I have. When it came down to it I just leveled my panhard bar and called it good. Seems I couldn't get both side even, like the frame might have a slight twist in it(came from dump truck). Got two years on it, no problems. I also removed one valve and just run one now. I had/have an issue with an air "leak" noise occasionally. Was told that maybe one of the valves was off enough to fight the other. Removed one rod and plumbed to just one valve. Still have that "air release" noise randomly. Won't do it just sitting still, only when traveling down the road. When I first did the back, the bags would leak off in an hour due to the old valves.. Put new valves on it, and it will sit for months and not go down. I like it!
  16. Freak'n stupid people keep procreating. Remember when a lawn mower didn't have all the safety crap. Stupid people trying to get grass out of a running mower by reaching under the deck while it's running...........DUH!!! Can't back a new tractor up without turning blades off because too many morons ran over their 3 yr old kids> WTF?? Why is your 3 yr old kid playing anywhere NEAR where you are mowing?? No different then gun control. They blame the gun for stupid people. Stupid people are EVERYWHERE!!!
  17. OH OH OH OH OH>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Pick me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "motorboat" is the only word that comes to mind right now.
  18. Welcome to the site! Awesome trucks!!
  19. Take it slow and easy. Won't take much to throw it all outta whack again.
  20. Before you pull it off, you might want to check operations. The line going to the compressor head should have NO air going to it when you start truck(with basically no air pressure yet). The govenor should hold back til you get to 120#, then it should allow air to go to compressor head(unloader). Once it drops down to 90#, it should shut air off again til it builds up. That govenor is an air switch basically. If you remove the line going to compressor, start truck, and get air from that line. The govenor is bad.
  21. My first Shadow(1986) 700, it was like brand new with only 13K miles on it when I got it about 5 yrs ago. Good running lil bike. Loved those 80's Hondas. ' Traded it off for a 2000 model 1100, which I sold off for my 2007 HD.
  22. I have a very short clip of me driving Stan Lemans V8 truck, but can't seem to get it off my phone and to my computer. Argh. Someday.........someday I'll get a chance to take it for a real drive!! Someday........
  23. I remember those universal kits, yup mounted right over door panel, looked like an arm rest of sorts. Been years, I'm thinking that JC Whitney sold them?
  24. Really, what car? Um, don't seem to see it in the picture you posted.......................
  25. Wow, they musta kept it under wraps. Never been to Lynn's, but know the location. Just a few blocks north, Rohr's towing has a B75? tow truck sitting in the back of their shop. Hasn't seen the light of day for many, many years. I purchased my B model from General Towing in Canton.
