  1. Thanks Don. I guess I'm not wanting something quite that large(couldnt afford to fill them!). 100 gals total is more my speed. I do like the steps he put on, that's kinda what I was picturing in my head.
  2. They don't teach typing, as most kids today don't use but about 4 letters anyway! "U", "R" ,"2","BFF",,,,,,,,,,,,,um lets see, what other ones??? I took it in HS, thinking sophmore year. I was near top in my class at 60 WPM with only 1 mistake. Not quite as limber as I once was, but better then most that peck with two fingers. I used to marvel when they would show some guy doing near 100 wpm on an old MANUAL machine!!!! I learned on an IBM Selectric.
  3. I use Photobucket to host my pictures, then just copy/paste the link to your post. I don't want to drag you through too much if they aren't what I'm looking for. It is just another "wannado" thing.
  4. I'm thinking he's running away from the great white glare that is standing in the foreground............LMAO!!! Sorry, just had to man. Don't feel bad, I sport a pretty nice farmers tan myself LOL!!
  5. Great work, I was checking over your pictures today.
  6. Happen to have any pics? Basic dimensions?(dia and length), Idea on what you want for them?
  7. Step tanks? I'd rather have just a plain tank, as they won't be under the cab.
  8. I've had thoughts of trying to come up with a pair of 40-50 gal round aluminum tanks I could put on my truck. I'd like to get rid of the stock square tanks, replace them with step boxes(make the right side a battery box) and then hang the round tanks back under the bunk. I remember years back someone had a set of alum. diamond plate square tanks made for a B model. Neat, but kinda pricey I suppose. Not that my rusty hulk is worth all that. Just thinking out loud. Maybe someone has something thrown in the back forty that would work?
  9. That is the lid that came with my riser. Still have it in the box.
  10. There are "mistakes" and then there are "STUPID MISTAKES". A mistake is not looking where you walk and tripping. A stupid mistake is not looking where you are walking and falling into a gator pit. One allows you to get up and wipe yourself off and say "Gee, I better watch where I'm going". The second, if you're lucky enough to escape, allows you the same. But the odds are pretty slim. Hat just had a "stupid mistake" moment and was very lucky to walk away.
  11. What about the story that hit the news last winter about the 18 yr old girl and the two hoodlems that broke into her trailer that she shot. I've got CRS, so can't recall what all transpired.
  12. I'd like to have a set of door panels like that for my B since I'm doing all the tan vinyl inside to match the bunk.
  13. I got mine from Matt Pfahl, was on Ebay when I saw it. Came with chrome stack and new top. I liked my big top better, as the one that came with it was the small rounded version. I'm thinking it was $150? Something like that. I wanted the tall version and it's not a std exhaust size. No braces on mine and it's not a problem for the last 5-6 yrs. Without the riser, if the passenger wing window was open too far it would bang into the lid when you opened the door fully. The lid had a good dent in it from years of that happening.
  14. I still have my Lego's, Lincoln Logs, TinkerToys and Toggleblocks. I'm not too proud to play with them either.
  15. That there van is a Beyuu-hog Van. That's slang for Buick whilst I was growing up. (with them fancy Roadmaster vents on the fenders)
  16. Naw............one on the wheel, the other hang'n out the window wav'n traffic outta the way.............LOL!!! I come down the hill from Rittman heading towards the scalehouse hill and figured I'd try it out. Just doesn't accelerate too quickly at 75+, just kinda easing it up a bit at a time. Only about a mile of straight before the big hill and that hill really knocks the wind out quickly. A barndoor with only 180 hp doesn't go too fast!! Is kinda neat to be able to roll with traffic at 65-70, then throw'r in Double Boogie Overdrive and just ease on past them with RPM to spare. Of course once I hook on the trailer all these pipe dreams fade quickly LOL!!
  17. I stretched the legs on my truck Sunday going to NEO meeting. I even strung it out in double OD to see if it would do it. Not sure what speed but likely about 75 before I ran out of straight level road. Still had 300 rpm to go. Had the radio on and coming home I heard a few comments about the pavement I was tearing up in a B model!! Dont think many have seen one running 75 before LOL!!
  18. Ain't that the truth Glenn!!! I replaced a bunch on the back of mine when I first got it. Couple broken studs too. I just put new nuts on the front of mine last fall, the originals were getting pretty whipped/stripped and my socket was having a hard time holding on to them.
  19. Wow............I was wondering as I read and looked at the pics if that was you/your truck. Glad you were smart and stayed inside. That is crap you don't want to mess with. We have some high power lines off a substation that run across the side of my work property. It's eerie to listen to those things humm and buzz, especially during rain storm.
  20. Here's my contribution again: Stans 500hp Superliner. I got a short clip when I got to move the truck last fall at the Cleveland show. It's on my phone and can't seem to figure out how to download it.
  21. '07 Softail Custom. Just bought it in January. Been just killing me sitting there looking at it in the garage LOL!! I got a buyer for my '00 Honda 1100 Shadow, so we're good to go. My friend has one of these: Forget what year? 05? Screaming Eagle Fatboy. Got all the go fast stuff, dyno'd 100hp. It runs well, pulls hard, I've rode it a few times. It's not my style of bike, but it's badazz and never turned down a chance to ride it.
  22. Wow. That makes my back hurt!!! Besides feeling clostrophobic LOL!!! (dont worry Vinny, its just a circus act).
  23. Buwhahahahahahahaha,...........
  24. What motor? Dt466? Good little motors from what I have heard. Pretty cheap to overhaul compare to a big motor.
  25. Ok, here's me on my scooter last Sunday, I HATE winter too................
