  1. Hopefully Mike Harbison sees this post. He should have anything you need.
  2. I'm not retired, yet ugh, but I have a health savings plan set up and it's growing to offset any cost of my deductible/ year.
  3. My 673p had the brass bypass tube just like that one so I'm familiar with it.
  4. 673P with a set of screw on filters like I did to mine. Did a 711 come with twin intakes like the 673P? I remember lots of trucks getting the 4 square light treatment way back. I suppose they wanted to make their old truck look "newer". To me it looks odd and needs a single round headlight....but that's just me.
  5. Hahaha...its like those memes where it states..."you read it wrong"!! I have to admit you had me saying it "crunch" like the cereal LOL. OD, we hired a sales secretary here at work a few years back. Here name was Anita, well the other girl in the office was Anita, so we said "how about your middle name?". Renee. Hmmm, that's the owners name......so we just called her "Number 2". Not in a crappy way either.....hahaha.
  6. My dad was a big railfan, had an HO scale layout(as I did). I guess that is where "Freightrain" came from. I wasn't into cars til college when I met new friends that happen to be in automotive class(I was in electronics). Still love trains, heck anything that makes noise and smokes for that matter.
  7. I get it. Still sucks. Back then I was driving my 67 f100 and only got 9 mpg with a good tailwind. I parked it and got an Escort from a buddy for cheap. Survived the next few years in it til it rotted away and found another pickup because fuel was reasonable again.
  8. Diesel is $4.79 here. My normal weekend runs are about an hr each way. Thats still about 12 gal x $5/gal=$60 each trip(avg 8 mpg). That will be double from last year. Trips farther will make it tough to go with the cost of fuel.
  9. We can all hope the hell not! My travel plans even for racing are going to be slim and none even at $5/gal diesel.
  10. Agree, you NEVER hear a single word from a Biden supporter about anything he does. Nadda, nutin. No praise, and certainly no bad mouthing. That would prove to all that they DID make a mistake and most liberals would never want to admit fault. I had to laugh this morning on the news they had a clip from Florida governor that was at a school and basically told the kids to take their masks off because it doesn't do a thing. LoL. He was very adamant about it!
  11. I watched 30 seconds late in the circus.... all I could handle. The constant standing ovationa were getting ridiculous. Ugh. Bla bla bla bla bla bla....
  12. Ya, had to do a double take when I read that heading. I was like Huh?? That's ok Bob. I'll say he is up there reading the post anyway.
  13. Buddy used to call our friend at the parts store and ask for the yellow wire with the blue tracer on it from a 1967 volkswagon.....
  14. You'll only need one battery box with it being 12v. It will start easily with just two batteries in parallel. Keep the box on the passenger side and run the cables up under the frame and up to the starter. Go with big cables! I think mine were 4/0? (Mine has air start now so I removed all the big cables).
  15. Drivers side was a 50 gallon and it stuck back past the rear of the cab. I used two 40s to allow dual stacks on my truck. The brackets are the same.
  16. Ya, looks like 4 spring to me. I've never heard of any real complaints about it? What is the deal with it?
  17. Daggone those are GOOD!!!! Lmao.....
  18. They listened to their moms advice?
  19. Squeaky seat? I thought you had a birds nest in there lol.....
  20. Now that I got them painted up better, I'll likely leave them. Though shiny aluminum is nice to look at too.
  21. Wow....sounds like they have their heads screwed on right!
