  1. Ok. Got to thinking after I posted it might be overnite(duh). Oh well, if anyone else is looking for signs these are available.
  2. In Lexington? I forget which one you needed?
  3. There is a place you can order blueprints to build a loader for your lawn tractor. I've checked it out, but just acquiring the parts isn't cheap. They list it like $1500 in parts(steel and hyd). That is a nice looking tractor, but I think it is priced a bit high. Maybe 2-2500 is more in line? Guess it all depends on how bad someone wants it?
  4. Welcome to the site. Good, old, reliable engine. Won't win any races against a big powered truck of today, but it will keep doing it long after the new stuff breaks down.
  5. Just the other day on FB, a buddy showed a truck stuck in his yard at his shop. Seems he has a huge area, but somehow this driver never turned the wheels and drove straight off the road into the ditch. SMH.
  6. Heard from the driver after............"well my 14ft straight truck always made that turn okay"................
  7. I remember Leon, can't say his screen name either. Green R model?
  8. Oh, one of these days I'll escape my Ashland show job and get over and hassle yun's. Someday. Glad to see you all had a great time. Did Vlad get the "long distance" award? At my FE Reunion we have two that show up, one from Europe and one from Australia.
  9. My 237 has "muffling device" tag on the turbo. Being a firetruck engine I see why, as early firetrucks were typically muffler delete....ie:loud.
  10. Bob...stop in Ohio for my Ashland show. Macungie Friday, Ashland Saturday!!!
  11. I'm guessing it uses that unloader signal to dump the drier also?
  12. one supply, one to unloader. The extra tee line goes to?
  13. I remember that story well!! Don't know what ever happened to my book.............that was a very long time ago!
  14. Wonder if the same guy had the B model? Both are deleted. Wonder if my local W model buddies bought it?
  15. Gone already.....
  16. Jolt for the real tough stuff...........
  17. Not sure, I've heard rumors but can't say what really happened to Dan. I know he sold the trucks off a few years back.
  18. Good looking truck. Local Napa should have everything you need to put filters and fluids in it.
  19. Ohhhh, geez. That's BAD news. Nothing much worse then when the motor gods lets you see the rotating assembly from the OUTSIDE of the engine. My local shop dynoed a motor just a month or so back. Big Hemi motor built by someone else. They fired it up, made some baseline pulls. BAM!!!, rod came out the oil pan. They did a little looking and seems the assembler didn't get around to torquing all the rods? OOOHHH man. All the shop could do is wheel all the broken parts back to the guys pickup truck.
  20. How about a leaky ride valve on rearend? I know mine was leaky and would drop in a few hours of sitting. Once replaced the bags stay up all winter.
  21. The old saying..."something is better then nothing" just doesn't hold much anymore? The lawyers circle the wagons too easily these days.
  22. I wonder what the actual price tag is when new? Likely much more then $125K. The bad part is figuring out the wiring? Fire equipment just doesn't hold much value.
  23. I'm trying to think where I saw steering wheel restoration ads? I thought I remember something about $600? But that sounds cheap these days considering all the work involved. Maybe it was much higher? I do recall something about a warranty too. Found this guy: http://www.steeringwheelbob.com/ Pricing starts at $500-600 and goes up from there. I know I saw someone, likely on BMT, that had their wheel done somewhere.
  24. Ha....didn't even pick up on that one Paul. We call that "nature's domelight"......;) Only works on sunny days.
