  1. Holey Crap!! $6500!! Original owner or not.....I want what they are smoking!!!! Is there $6000 in the glovebox? Oh, wait there is NO glovebox...
  2. Got that right Dan. With your introduction..........she was swooned with my charm and good looks......LOL!!! Caught me off guard totally when she wanted to go see my old rusty junk. I'm just another pea in the pod, so I don't expect anything to come from it.
  3. Ya, Bill had to stop as his cart was getting beat pretty bad. He typically will carry it in his trailer very similar to yours(with air ride). I heard him on the radio talking about it and then pulled over.
  4. Friend about destroyed his golf cart while riding on the rear of his drop deck. They had to stop and adjust it. Then had to repair broken alum brackets when he got home. Those old solid axle trailers are neat looking, but not pleasant for items strapped on top.
  5. I want to fix my wheel, really bad. Just need to take it off and do it. Got to grind all the plastic out, then sandblast the rusty wire and coat it, then rebuild the plastic. Almost worth the big money they get for it? I'm just not much of a sander/painter.
  6. BBC? Pfft. Try a 427/428 FE!
  7. Or remove nut, rotate engine with bar and wait for oil to push the spring/plug out. Just guard yourself from flying parts/oil!!!
  8. See if they will help prove it runs? Make them put a few bucks up towards making it run. Then split the difference?
  9. Doesn't the valve come out the side of the pump? It's been ages since I've looked at one closely.
  10. Mopar is handy with external oil pump.
  11. Doesn't look too hateful for a NY truck. Might be worse up close? Have to really pick it over before offering anything over scrap price. If marginally decent, I'd say $2-3K? Just a shot in the dark.
  12. That idea is drilled into my head now......
  13. Glad to hear it wasn't me that broke the camera....LOL!! Glad to meet you Ed. Also had Baddog stop by this afternoon while I was sitting around waiting to leave. I think there were a few others that introduced themselves, not just from BMT, but other places that know of me(besides the LAW ;) ).
  14. We tore up our swindle sheets and crashed the gate doing 98. Let them buns roll........10-4! Farmer and I ran home together. Nice sunny drive. The roads....questionable.....but had a good run.
  15. That Farmall Hoopty is owned by our own Stan Walls. He still lurks around the internet but doesn't post much. That's his little blue camper in the background.
  16. Joe Mustangs old H. 1693 powered. Dan said Joe just turned 102 and still gets around. Just met Stormy from ATHS. She took pics of truck and my life story. Time will tell if I make print??
  17. We are here! Talked to Dan, he only brought 4 trucks.
  18. Blew the belts off going to Quaker Sunday morning. I 'thought" I didn't have any spares. Called a buddy and he brought me a couple from Azone(which didn't fit), but the one was enough to run the waterpump. Good enough for me. Made the rest of the trip over and back. No problem. Last night, while doing some thinking, I had a revelation. I got into the side box of the bunk and found the spare belt!!! Yup, when I put the a/c on the truck I removed the second short belt and put a longer one on. That short belt got thrown in the bunk for "just in case". Only problem is my mind is fading fast and can't remember chit. Got new belts this morning, along with TWO spares. Won't need them now!!!! Will be fueling up and ready to roll in the morning to meet up with group and convoying down.
  19. I'm guessing panel is stock but arm rest and electric window is custom.
  20. I have led sequential arrow turn signals on the front of my B. Pricey but I like the way they look. Fit STD oval opening.
  21. I just bought a DeWalt grinder off eBay. Sold by Summit racing. It was wayyy cheaper then any place. Yes it took near a month to get it but saved like $50 over anyone else and free shipping.
  22. Ah, yes, I remember those days as I built the wiring harness for that 41 Willy's I worked on. It wasn't an electric powered car, but the owner wanted every freak'n gizmo put in it!!!
  23. The lower bracket is homemade, using the original fuel filter mount portion. I then ran two legs down to the accy drive to support it. Rock solid. This mimics what they do with an R model that has a/c. I only run one belt, on the front pulley, as it won't clear the protrusion of the accy drive down below. The belt just touches it as it wiggles around while running. Never a problem, works well. I had to clip the fan shroud a bit to clear the pulley on the compressor.
