  1. I watched some of the beginning. The dummycrats and their smug looks on their faces when most of the room is standing/clapping. Screw them. Pelosi looked like she had a mouth full of lemons. They never panned over to see if she was actually standing/clapping for the heroes that they invited and mentioned by Trump. I wanted to watch more, but with the constant standing ovation really slows things down and I loose interest.
  2. Pretty cool project.
  3. Just have to watch, as when I cut my rear leaf stack down, after about 6-7 yrs the main leaf broke from "excessive movement" that it was not typically used to. 50 yr old brittle springs. I had to have new leafs made, which wasn't really expensive. Not an issue now with the air ride. I had the main leaf replaced on my LF spring pack a few years back. The clamps were coming loose and the springs were not flat anymore. They remade the main leaf(no longer available) and reclamped the pack.
  4. There was a fellow on here years back that did this with a B model. Bill? Dave? Had a silver B67. I had thoughts of doing the same, but never got around to it. I could take a few leafs out and install the bag to hold the truck up. I'm sure it would help drastically with the ride quality of the front end of a B model. Donvel was a brand I recall.\ Edit: It was Dale Hamilton
  5. Got one!
  6. When he was over my place some time back we went over to Dan Renovetz's house and picked up a flywheel and some other related parts he was needing. Dan is the local DD guy around here. Yardo probably has him on speed dial???
  7. I have replaced the seals on my FA517 axle. Had similar wear ring with pin. The pin just keeps the wear ring from spinning. It's been a few years so the details are fuzzy, but when I saw your pictures I knew I went through the same deal.
  8. I'm sure her HI Beams were on and you could have used them to chip the ice off the binders????
  9. Ya, control arms would break loose, he had to keep exhaust pipes handy as they would rot in half, plus a few other issues I have forgotten about. But at an easy 50 MPG no matter how hard to drove it, he loved them. Fold the seat down and you could carry an entire engine back there. Great beater/work cars.
  10. Buddy used to SWEAR by his lil red Festiva. He actually had a fleet, as with as rusty as they get in Ohio you have to have "spares". They would run 250K miles without motor problems. If you could keep them from rusting, they would run forever.
  11. I need one early 237 Jake lash cap. Big diameter: .468. The are NLA from Mack. Small ones won't fit.
  12. Ya, not going to make it. What else is new? Someday.
  13. At least Manson finally got off the payroll. Always like this little clip: I agree, those two pyscho's that tortured their children for 29 yrs should be hung by their toe nails and left be be eaten by rabid rats.
  14. So what is that in ENGLISH???
  15. Just so you know...... ALL tv sucks. I take Alka Seltzer Plus gel tabs. They dry me up and wipe me out so I can sleep it off.
  16. As they say........"it was fun while it lasted"..........
  17. I always do a quick lookie at that yard next to the pike when I run through there. Never quick enough with a camera though.
  18. I bought one of those lil metal sheds to put my lawn tractor in. Holy COW!!! The bag of screws was half the weight of the box LOL!!! Took a few nights to screw that little 10x10 together. I can just imagine the bag of bolts for that "little" shed. Of course a few years back a tree dropped a huge limb though the roof and now it's a worthless, leaky shed. Need to replace it with a bigger one(after I buy a few battery packs for my cordless drill!! )
  19. My guess, and I'm no power steering expert.....seems like the spool valve or whatever controls the fluid is stuck or at least not moving for left hand turns. Thus making it impossible to turn left. With the engine off, does it turn hard both ways? The same effort as left turn WITH the engine running? I think Tom, Fuzzy Buzzard, just put Shepard on his wrecker last year when he put a 237 in it. Might be something he could assist with?
  20. The build part is fun with the King hauler. it is just like building a real truck(just a lot easier since you an lift everything with one hand). I've had mine since 1996(right after they came out). The stuff they have out for them today is crazy! Very cool. Not cheap though, it is just another money pit.
  21. Yes, FB has taken it's toll on many forums. Not all, but the smaller forums seemed to dry up as it is easier to just use FB. I still hang with all my old forums, I don't really use FB other then for certain projects and needs. I don't do "family" stuff or get into armchair quarterbacking on whatever is the story of the day on FB. My cheers to FB, when I needed a wrecker to pull the motor in the Mack, BOOM, one post and I had one. Needed to sell the old motor< BOOM, one post to a fellow that needed motor. Gone! It has its good points. Beyond that I stay away. Oh ya, the BMT upgrade? I didn't have any issues with it. Ya, the new look took some getting used to but the function was never an issue(and I have an old laptop at home).
  22. If I would just get mine in one piece and leave it alone. I've enjoyed watching videos from those shows. The german guys are crazy with what they build.
  23. Hi Rob. Good to see you lurking around.
  24. I'm sure Joe's H model surprised a LOT of guys thinking it might have some little 673 in it!
