In the opening scene of convoy when the angry bird is cresting the hill it sounds like a detroit, anyone know what engine the truck had, i know they used like 5 R700's in the movie but did any come with a factory detroit?

Makes sense, and te previous owner told me he bobtailed the truck thru some pretty rough country and it took a beating so bad he had to replace te entire cab so that might be part of the reason.
