  1. That's a lot trailer! Funny if it had a Yugo in the middle.
  2. Well its really official, truck is in MY NAME! That was a journey I am glad is over. Just sent out for Historic plates so I can drive this puppy legally. Called my classic insurance and they are faxing something over stating I will not be using this for commercial use. Now I need to get it road worthy so I can show up at some shows.
  3. I had seen that too. Beautiful truck but too rich for my blood right now.
  4. Wow! That's a first. WTF are these guys thinking? Those wedge trailers aren't designed to carry that kind of weight in one spot. It's fools like this that pick up loads for $.40 a mile that ruin it for the rest of us. I have been doing my research and crunching numbers to see if running a 3/4 car trailer can make sense. Not with jerkoffs like this booking loads with the wrong equipment and the lots they are leaving don't give a crap. Pay cheap get cheap but no one seems to care.
  5. I've got a small plate collection, maybe 30 plates, half of those from Europe and one from Western Australia, I got from my over seas customers. I have a NY trailer plate from 1914. Pretty cool. I think the most I paid was $20 for a plate. Got them hanging in the garage. Loadstar - you are right it was on Chasing Classic Cars. That was the Hartung Auction, Lee Roy had a huge amount of plate sets. Some were pretty rare. I would have loved to dig through that pile of stuff.
  6. Great find. I'd just get it running, give it a wash and drive it as is. They can only be original once and yours looks to be all there. Good luck and welcome!
  7. $1800 I'd buy that just because. Too bad it's another $1,200 to ship back to Jersey.
  8. Dig the Dual truck and the white Chevy Bison. What show were the from?
  9. I'd rock that thing. Prob get it for cheap without the trailer.
  10. My wife has a 2000 TL. She bought it in 2003 with 20,000 miles. Since then the car has had three transmissions all replaced under warranty. She now has 150,000 miles. Since she has had repeated problems Acura will keep warranting the transmissions since all the work was done at the dealership since new.
  11. Tomorrow came and went, where are the pictures?
  12. We got both kinds, country and western.http://youtu.be/cSZfUnCK5qk.
  13. Now there's something you don't see every day.
  14. What the heck am I going to do with that? Well beyond my limits and attention span to restore that thing.
  15. The picture didn't show, post again?
  16. Care to give us a little more info? Year, motor trans, rears, miles, tractor/dump/etc? What state? Price? If you put no effort in your advertisement you will get no effort by the buyer to call about it. "Truck, call me" says nothing.
  17. Watch what you say about Detroits. Some of us on here have oil leakers. I love good southern cooking.
  18. Chuck, You are always welcome to stop by my shop and check it out too if you want but I hope to have it there. I am only 23 miles from E-Town so as long as the truck is semi ready, I'll be there.
  19. Nice dump! Post a side shot of the WS too when you can.
  20. I like how you said we're awesome with a ? at the end. You learned quick. LOL.
  21. I suspect a bad sensor but haven't been able to narrow it down. I have a jumper lead direct from the battery to the shut down right down so she'll run. I kinda held off doing much to it until I had the title. Now it's game on! I am hoping to get her roadworthy for the Diesel Truckin Nats at ETown then show up at Gerhart's with it. I only have a few weeks before ETown so I have to get cracking.
  22. I am doing my frame in urethane automotive gloss black once I finish wire wheeling it. It should hold up well for a few years. The body guy a few shops down from me is going to hook me up with his spray gun and mix the paint for me.
