  1. Everything happens for a reason. You take what is given to you, do the best with it in a positive way and in the long run you know it was the right thing. Embrace the change and you will be fine. Good luck to you.
  2. Mike - I wanted to catch up with you at some point but wasn't able to. We'll get together at the next meet. Hopefully with the General this time.
  3. Vinny didn't make the picture but he did have a Mack shirt on.
  4. Makes more sense to just drive to NJ to stay the night then drop the car off in the morning at Kennedy. Dorney Park would be a great day for Vlads son. I like that place much better than Great Adventure. I find it amusing I have lived here all my life and was never the the Falls but Vlad comes over here and makes his way there. So cool - I need to take a weekend road trip with the misses now.
  5. Vinny - Another cool vid but you misspelled Peterbilt.
  6. Back from Macungie and now even more motivated. Its a little slow today (or not really focused on work) so I pulled the new Kysor valve and checked it for a positive and negitive. All I found was A-06 under the one terminal and K-24 under the other. Anyone have some advice to what these are? 6v or 24v? or something else? Need to get ready!
  7. I forgot to take a picture with the wife and I with Vlad and his son. CRAP!
  8. No there really was a Motley Crew thread but just in case you don't find it here you go:
  9. Nice shots. I didn't see that orange Ramcharger. I dig those things. I've had three - 83, 90, & 91.
  10. Don't worry about it. If you can't get down there is always next time. Enjoy the rest of your stay.
  11. Looks like the next couple shows are Watts in Aug 24th, Englightown Diesel Truckin Nats Sept 14th, Gerhart's Oct 4-5. I have two months to get the General ready for Watts.
  12. Randy, you are correct. I have spent many years in the classic car hobby. Many folks are very nice but a year ago I began this journey into old trucks. What I have found is a bunch of really nice folks that will bend over backwards to help each other. Never once did any of you guys ever think my basic questions were a bother and the advice I had received was genuine. I never drove a class 8 truck yet now i own one. I am hooked. When's the next get together?
  13. Sandy is in the other room now laughing historically. She can't believed you remembered the pudding cups. Stock up on chocolate, they explode the best and leave their mark well. You have a beautiful B and one of the best B Macks there. Next time you might have to share the adult beverages.
  14. I am witness, he had springs, and a Dora the explorer seat.
  15. That Titan/90 was a gorgeous restoration. I hate to see what the price tag on that was. That was my pick of the show. v12 Detroit was awesome. That half sized Pete was very cool. I wanted to talk with the guy about how it was built but no one was there. I also wanted to speak with the owner of the Chevy Bison but the guy was never by his truck.
  16. Nice shots Vinny. You got some of the Mack museum which in the two days I was there, I was not able to make it over to. I want to know, what the hell is this and when are they taking orders?
  17. Yup, that's the truck route, wait to you see the non truck route!
  18. Alright kids I uploaded 258 pictures to Photobucket. Enjoy! http://s387.photobucket.com/user/jtformula/slideshow/Macungie%20Truck%20Show%202013
  19. I may have gotten your B. I'll be posting pics later today when I get my lazy ass off the couch.
  20. My wife took a shot of me in front of this clean R. Then caught me climbing around on Jumpers IH
