  1. You FAILED! Next year you can have a stand to sell hot sauce, and wimmins pictures.
  2. I say 140k miles on a pickup is bare broken in. My shop trucks all except one have over 200k - 99 f350 7.3l - 280,000 1999 Chevy 2500 gas - 235,000 1998 Dodge 1500 5.2l - 242,000 1996 Dodge 1500 5.2l - 215,000 1997 Dodge 1500 5.2l - 120,000 Any of these trucks I would drive anywhere. I have about 500 pictures I took at the show I will be uploading to my photobucket later today. I'll start a post with the link when it's done.
  3. The best accessory goes to this custom jump seat in a truck that I will remain nameless.... for now
  4. Vinny did show up. He was on the slow bus getting back from the Mack tour and missed the picture but did show up and Dennys rolling estate for the cake and coffee hour. That strawberry shortcake thing was excellent.... MMmmmmmmmm By the way I was the one who had passed you in the gray Dodge Ram on 78 going up that first hill and beeped.
  5. I thought this thing was cool as hell. The fact that it ran and the dump body worked (I watched him dump the pool of water that gathered in the bed) was just sweet. As I was leaving I was able to get a couple quick seconds of that thing driving to the loading area. Video: http://youtu.be/RSaHfTARCVQ
  6. Yeah, the excuse your pickup has 140k miles is a poor one. - LOL - You were tied up by the Windfall wimmins, admit it.
  7. Ok, here are my mug shots: I also saved them in full resolution if anyone needs to get close ups to compare faces to the most wanted list.
  8. I think meeting everyone was the highlight of the show. The trucks are fantastic but its the people and friendship that make it so wonderful.
  9. I'll get my picture of the crew off my camera later and post for all to see.
  10. Just got home (8:52pm) from the show and stopping at Cracker Barrel on I78 in NJ for dinner It was very nice to meet all of you guys. I have some great motivation to finish the General in a timely manor too. Denny and Ruth Ann provided a fantastic dessert for everyone and it was great to talk with everyone. Thanks to Tim and Ben for letting me climb all over there truck and Detroit advice. I passed FWD on 78 in PA going up the first hill in my Dodge Ram and beeped as we went by. I doubt he knew who we were. Mackman, I still owe you an Ice Tea so ill catch you at the next event. Oh and I got a great lead on an R700 to look at this week. I'll be getting lots of pictures when I get there.
  11. Pigpen this here's the Rubber Duck and I'm about to put the hammer down.
  12. It was being hauled by a Yellow General day cab which was also pretty clean. Looks like the Titan is a fresh restoration. With 0 miles. Tires still have nipples on them.
  13. I have a few shots of the white Bison as well since its the Chevy equivalent to my General. The owner wasn't around for me to ask some questions.
  14. Welcome to the site. Your Brock seems to have an unusually short wheelbase. Do you know any history on it?
  15. Vlad - I missed you today but will catch you tomorrow at the phone at Watts.
  16. Great show so far. Seen Ken, Ben and Son (and daughter), and Baby Mack and his wife. Stopped by Watts and met Barry, bought a shirt. Sandy and I left before the dinner tonight. We wanted to stay but by the time we got done Bullsh*ting eating and get back on the road to come home 2.25 hours, it would have been late. So we headed out, hit the Clinton Station diner on the way back on 78, had a killer Short Rib dinner, now home. Be there by 10am tomorrow! DON'T FORGET YOUR NAME TAGS AT WATTS! Oh and here is a teaser - So far, my pick on the litter as of today hands one of the nicest damn trucks there: 1974 Chevy Titan 90 - V12 Detroit!
  17. We like Mack trucks too. We are also not quite right here either....
  18. Ken, glad to hear the trip was a success. I like the trailer lounge idea with bar, hot tub, couches. I'd give a $1 towards that.
  19. I like the way it looks. That's a keeper. Still looking for the Sin that was advertised though...
  20. Salvage is paying $11 a 100 lbs. So lets say the truck weighs 16,000 lbs, you're going to get $1,760. What is the replacement cost for that truck and are they trying to pay you? I assume this is a dump?
