  1. We will just gather in Kens trailer if it rains. I am still coming both days rain or shine. Got to meet this motley crew.
  2. I used dynamat on the floor of my 78 Trans Am I had. Made a world of difference to cut down road and exhaust tone resonating into the car. I am planning on using it all over on my Formula when ever I get back to that project.
  3. I wanted to buy a B46 in Maine when I was up there in Oct.
  4. Perfect! Now if OD brings the wimmins its a party!
  5. You got it. And if I see and acetylene lights, ill call you.
  6. I didn't do anything yet. Didn't know what to check. I didn't think it had markings but I'll double check. Got the key switch wire already there.
  7. Last year the wife and I would ride 10-12 miles on the weekend. This year, not once on a bicycle except for riding around at the swap meet.
  8. I want that thing. Nice find and good luck with it.
  9. I still don't see any difference. Two different computers an iPad and iPhone all show the old blue theme. What's up with that?
  10. I think I need to get people's phone numbers. I have Mike Mackmans, I think I have Kens and that's it. If anyone wants, I will be happy to pass along my cell so we can meet up.
  11. HELP! Got a snag today and need some assistance. I installed the new Kysor shut down today and fired truck rig up. She ran for about 3 seconds and stalled. Tried to fire it up and nothing. I looked and the plunger is fully out and holding the shut off lever preventing it to start. WTF? The old one would at least wait a minute before it would shut down. This one is instant on. The new Kysor had two terminals on it so I hooked the wire to either one to see if it made a difference and nothing. Then I tried it without the wire connected and nothing. Can anyone give me an idea what to look for? I called my diesel guy and he can't get here until Tuesday or Weds. That's cutting it short for Macungie and I still haven't really road tested the truck yet. One step closer and one step back - ARGH! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
  12. I haven't been out of NJ on mine. Been trying to get some rides going with people but can't seem to get everyone together. My buddy went to the Dragon last year. Wanted me to come but it was a spur of the moment thing. He was on vacation and his son just lost his job so the two of them said lets go then called me. I wasn't able to take a week off of work with two days notice. If I don't get the General going, I'll prob ride up on Friday on the bike then maybe the pickup on Saturday to Macungie.
  13. I don't see anything different. My work computer is still showing the old blue page and my iPad and iPhone the same as well.
  14. I am planning on going down I-195 which is only 5 miles from here. Its a nice open highway i can see how she does a speed and make sure everything is ok. It goes from the shore to the other side of the state so it will be a good test run. If I have any doubts, ill have to leave it here and just drive/ride up to PA without it.
  15. Started to buff out the beast. Looks like I will be able to get some shine back in her. I got the new Kysor valve. Just need to get a new 90 degree air fitting and install it. One thing I forgot is I need to replace the belts. They are all dry rotted and I don't trust them for the 2+ hour drive up then back again. Hope I can get those done within the week. But I did install my new light bulbs! I know not technical but heck one more thing done. You can see the line where I buffed the hood to show the comparison. Look at the upper door area compared to the door that was buffed out.
  16. Great pics Vlad. Looking forward to meeting you. Is that your SEC? I like those Mercedes. Just remember German girls will "whip" you into shape.
  17. There are a couple for sale on Craigslist. Two I can't find anymore but these are still on. http://newyork.craigslist.org/jsy/cto/3829896126.html
  18. I don't know what's wrong with me. I thought you wrote Mormons. I have to get a better nights sleep.
  19. You have had a tremendous accomplishment that I applaud. I have a very good friend who was 575lbs. His doctor told him at the age of 37 or 38 he will not live past 40 if he kept it up. He also had type 2. Being a father of three, he wanted to watch his kids grow up. He went for the full by pass and dropped from 575 to 270. He is 6'3'. He did manage to gain 50 more lbs in the last year but then was able to lose it again by the usual watch what you eat and working out. You still have to watch your food intake. I watched as he had major complications and almost lost his life when his kidneys shut down because of the opperation but now it's been 5 years. He is active, is able to be there to watch his kids grow up and enjoy life again. He says its the best thing he could have done. You should be very proud and by you feeling better and the diabetes being gone, your life only got better. As for myself, I got up to 268lbs. Now down to 250 and still going just by changing my lifestyle. It's hard but when I see folks like you to encourage me, the goal can only get easier when you can see the results. Bravo my friend, Bravo!
  20. Those MH's don't look right with the lights in the bumper. Kinda like that special kid in the class that drooled and kept telling people he likes cheese and bunny rabbits.
