  1. CRAP, TWO WEEKS! My bro in law said he might stop at my shop later and give me a hand power washing the back frame, install the lights and the new Kysor shut down air cylinder. Then have to take it out on the road to improve my shifting skills on the Roadranger. Need to get this thing ready.
  2. Nice, lots of riding going on here! My X is a 1300, not and 1800. I originally looked at the 1800F. Great bike but felt large. I specifically looked for a 2006 1300c for about 5 months before I bought this one. 2006 was the only year gray was offered and only on the 1300. Bought the bike used with 1200 miles from a poorly run Dodge dealer in Philly. I wanted low miles and no modifications. I knew what I wanted to do and didnt want someone elses poorly thought out ride. Upgraded with a Mustang seat, sissy bar so the wife doesn't fall off, bar risers, & Hard Krome Strippers. I have a Kuryakyn hypercharger and zombie levers still to install. Not pictured are my saddlebags which will be going back on. Freight train I have to say the HK are the best sounding metric pipe. Closest to a HD sound you can get without buying a Hog. I've had three Sportsters 1976, 1986, 1997. (1000, 883 converted to 1200cc, and 1200). Great sounding bikes and nothing better than that Harley sound but the Honda a better bike IMO. I have always liked the Night Train. That is one sweet ride that one day I will own. I also have a 1981 Cb900c and a 1989 Katana 750 with 1,300 original miles.
  3. That's a cool feature I didn't know we had
  4. The past 4 days I have been on two wheels. With the crazy weather, it seemed like I was never going to get the motorcycle out of the shed and ride. Thursday I finally got the chance and was riding for the rest of the week back and forth to work. Sunday the wife and I went to breakfast then rode down by the beach. She hasn't seen the destruction yet from the hurricane so I wanted to show her all the houses sideways, missing, etc. We went all the way down the island to Island Beach State Park, turned around and cruised by the boardwalk in Seaside (for those of you who done know, that's where the rollercoaster was sitting in the ocean in all the pictures and news reports) and then cruised back home when the clouds were starting to roll in. What a beautiful day it was. Got a bit sunburn so I have to remember to use suntan lotion next time. It was one of those rare days I got to relax. Then when we got home, I washed down the patio and the patio furniture, set up the outside table and lounges then the storms rolled in. Good time to stop so I went inside, made a couple chili dogs, reclined in my man chair and that was it. What did you guys do over the weekend?
  5. What part in the picture are you polishing? Looks like stainless on the very front as well as the side steps.
  6. That's one nasty looking storm coming in. This is the best shot.
  7. Then it could pressurize the crank case and that's not good. Once it runs for a while it drips less.
  8. I would love to have the B model or Big Horn carriers.
  9. Most of them are Toyota Coronas and Corollas
  10. Our driver at the shop had a run to deliver one car to Iowa the other to Missouri. I got him two cars for a backload to NJ, one in Chicago and the other in Ohio. Bobby drives nearly 500 miles to pick up the 1936 Cord in the windy city and when he is 20 minutes from the pick up they call to tell me oh we made a mistake. The car was supposed to be delivered to the west coast port, not east coast. They just said sorry and that was going to be it. I ripped the guy a new ass because I could have sent him back a different way to grab a different load I found after if we had enough time to plan. I got them to cover $350 in expenses for the dry run but it took a month for them to cut a check. Real PITA. So he went empty from Chicago to Ohio, grabbed the Mustang and delivered it in NJ. Basically covering fuel for the drive back and made crap for the whole trip after expenses because of that other dispatchers mistakes. I guess they don't care if the driver just spent 5 days on the road doing 2800 miles to make $400 after everything is paid.
  11. I only have one that I am panicking to get road ready, I can't imagine 22.
  12. They should still charge for a dry run since they didn't call to say they weren't ready for you.
  13. I don't think you have enough cabinets. Lol Where was that duece you took the picture of?
  14. The one I bought was new, the one in the picture is the old one I removed. I don't have a pull cable in the truck that goes to the valve.
  15. I am happy to report I was able to order a new Kysor shut down from Ross Equipment in Elizibeth NJ. The last one in stock! It will be arriving on Monday. I am one step closer to Macungie!
  16. That Superliner is badass. I'd rock that thing in a minute.
  17. Doing what I can to debut the General. Cross our fingers
  18. Mike, how was the WI trip? What were you hauling?
  19. I'd like to see a Mack medium duty truck to compete with the Class 6/7 segment. IH Durastar, Freightliner M2, Hino (which is gaining a huge market share right now), Peterbilt 325/330/337, Kenworth t270/t370, you get the picture. Mack states the Granite is a Medium HD truck but the lowest GVWR is 50,000lb its over kill for most MD applications like towing or straight/box trucks. Volvo doesn't offer a MD truck either so it wouldn't be in competition with itself. Yes it would be cool to come back with a retro line line R model or Superliner but reality is this wont happen. You want to improve sales? Get back into the MD market with a truck that can really compete. The Midliner wasn't a bad looking truck but with a Renault engine it wasn't truly a Mack product which I think was its demise.
  20. The noise isn't that bad, it's the Exxon Valdez pool originating from the air box drains that's the issue.
  21. Prob low miles being with the fire dept. I left a message to find out and also what they would sell the tractor alone for.
