  1. Today I finally got power, internet phones and cable back at around 3pm. Light never looked so good!
  2. http://newjersey.craigslist.org/cto/3323721589.html not sure if its the same one as the other ad is gone.
  3. We believe in people helping people who are truly in need. My offer still stands if he needs anything delivered out to him on Island.
  4. Was she the "Head" nurse?
  5. That kicks ass! Manowar is a great freakin metal band!
  6. I really appreciate you taking the time to look at this thing for me. Ill just keep looking when I am ready. Ultimately I would love to either get a B Wrecker or prefer a B rollback. I can get a good flatbed body to install it's finding the right truck to do it to is the problem.
  7. Problem is I would spend as much to ship it as it is to buy it. Good truck for a 26' rollback though.
  8. I have to announce that I will not be buying the B61. Ken got some pictures of it for me and as complete of a truck it is, it will really best to be used as a parts truck. Also with the storm hitting us hard around here, I can't justify buying a hobby truck when we have to do a couple repairs around the house and my mothers beach house will need some repairs as well. Plus I think it's time to get a quality generator just in case. I have to put off any extra buying until we get settled again. So maybe in a couple months ill start looking again.
  9. Holy Carp. That B61 Rollback is my ultimate Mack! I want that thing.
  10. Was at Gerharts too. Sweet rig.
  11. Nice shots. I like Beckley WV. I used to go white water rafting down the New River and we stayed in Beckley for years. Nice country down there. My sister used to live in Columbia SC. Oh and did you get the SN# on that seat cover?
  12. I agree with Hancock but instead of giving to some blind charity who only use 20% of the money for the actual cause lets see if we can help out Mackman directly. Mackman - if you are in need of clothing toys food etc, let us know and we will make sure it gets out to you. I am in Brick nj and 45 minutes from the outercrossing. If we can get some stuff together I can run it out to you or meet you somewhere as well. BMT is a great community and help out each other. Let us know what you need. Stay strong brother.
  13. We're on day three without power. I finally saw some more picture of the devistation on the Internet via the phone. I am floored to see how the barrier islands have been wipped out. I go down to these area all the time since I live here. It's sad to see how people lost everything. First your house gets flooded by the ocean and then it catches fire. Just when you think it's over, it catches fire again. There is a bridge that goes nowhere. A new ocean inlet was formed right where the Mantaloking Bridge crosses over. It's extremely sad. I feel for all these people and if we can do anything to help Mackman we need to do what we can.
  14. On the trim tag there should be a build date with a letter and a number. Or if you can get a picture of the tag I can check it out for you. It should be mounted under the hood.
  15. Depending on my home situation after the storm I may have to put the pick up of this thing off another week. Ill should know by the end if the week.
  16. My problems are small compared to others. I still have my house just a little inconvenienced. Others have lost everything.
  17. Wow that's bad man. Sorry to hear. Where do you live, by a river or lake? The most important this is you have your family and pets. Everything else can be rebuilt. Let us know if there is anything we can do for you.
  18. We're f*cked here at the Shore. Took a ride and half the roads are under water. No power in 90% of the area. The one gas station and wawa that was open was mobbed. People need boats to get out of their house. I don't know when we'll have power again. Every 1/2 mile another power line is laying down or a tree is on it. Telephone poles were snapped in half with the broken half hanging on the wires. It's not pretty down here.
  19. We still have no power so my iPhone is my link to the outside world. A tree fell in the backyard and took out a small section of fence. Power lines down everywhere around here. I am lucky I fired up the gas fireplace so we have heat. I will most likely lose most of my food in the fridge. It's going to be cheaper to go food shopping then get ripped off by some asshole who bought the last generator and is reselling it for triple the price. My wife and I took a ride down to the river and the roads to the beach. WOW! The pictures of the destruction come to life when you see stuff in person. You can't even get to the barrier islands unless you have a boat. Everything is flooded out like crazy. It's going to be a long time before life is normal here at the Jersey shore. I wish I can see what they are showing on tv. I am getting pictures on Facebook but that's the only way i can get local pictures of the devistation. A friend of mine lost everything in his house in Ortley Beach. They said his best case scenario is 5' of water in the house. Worst case, no house.
  20. Unless there was a No Wake sign I think you could have fought it. 1 hour later the winds have calmed slightly but shit is still blowing up everywhere. Cell phone is about at 1/3 so I am going 10-7 until the morning when I can plug into my truck charger. Stay safe everyone.
  21. It's 8:48 pm and its no longer fun any more the power is out and transformers are blowing up all around behind us. Huge white flashes in the sky and Fire Trucks out in force. I doubt ill have power for the next few days. The wind is insane. Sustained winds of at least 45 mph with easy 70-80 mph gusts. Trees are swaying like crazy.
  22. Atlantic city is going to need some work
