  1. My deepest condolences from Sandy and I
  2. Click the ad. The rest of the pictures are in there. Better yet:
  3. I still can't believe I didn't check out the rusted crap in the yard. If I only knew. Argh
  4. Put magnet signs on it that say "owner armed, do not touch" I've seen the same thing at motorcycle events. People would walk by someone's bobber or custom bike and just throw their leg over and sit on it. The one time it looked like the guy was a Hells Angel and a fight was about ensue. I didn't want to stay to find out what happened but I heard later the guy escaped without harm but a firm warning.
  5. Welcome to the site. You have some great looking rigs.
  6. Well I never got a phone call back from the seller before we left to return to NJ yesterday so the odds of me going back to Maine to persue purchase is slim. I hope to at least talk to the guy and get some info on it anyway if for anything to help spread the word. I did think it would have been an adventure to try and drive it back to NJ though.
  7. Funny thing is I went on Craigslist auto parts right after to find a Chevy granny low 4spd and found a guy with a 12v Cummings for sale with a 5 spd.
  8. Found this cool 1940 GMC truck with 5th wheel on Craigslist. $1500 just add your drivetrain. I have a rebuilt Chevy 305 in my garage. It would cool to pair that up with an automatic and make a fun hobby rig and tow a gooseneck car trailer with it. http://hudsonvalley.craigslist.org/cto/3242269992.html
  9. It was a former dump. Frame ends are chopped. I didn't get a call back from the owner yet
  10. Cool truck. Looks nice and tough with the short stance. I dig it.
  11. The thought is crossing my mind. Getting it home is the quandary. I didn't call the guy yet just so I don't do something stupid and buy a truck 350 miles from home without a plan. There's still the b42 in ct I want to look at.
  12. My wife and I were on rt 9 making our way from Dover NH to Wells ME and came across this B46 for sale. Looks like the frame was shortened with a torch. Gas motor (401?) and a straight 5 speed. Not in bad shape. Cab was pretty solid. Missing the passenger seat. I spoke with a kid who was pulling out of the driveway who gave me a little info and the owners name and phone number. Runs and drives well he said. $3,000 is the price but make an offer
  13. Good tip. Still have to see the truck before we get to the next step. Heading back home from Maine on Saturday. I hope to be able to see it on the way back.
  14. Watch the edges when wetsanding and polishing. Those are the areas you will burn through. You tube has great videos on how to wetsand. I think meguires also has some videos on it. A few months after the paint cures you may have to do some touch ups or a final wetsanding since the paint sinks in.
  15. That was pretty cool all the Superliners lined up and all the magnums there. I was digging the white Mag with the popup camper in his trailer.
  16. I am the one not in the picture because my wife couldn't get out of the house in time. I think we arrived around 1pm.
