  1. I think we need to know the condition of the female. 1. Gently used and still showing new 2. Usual wear and tear 3. Deduct for high mileage 4. For commercial use only I'll look her up in my wholesale guide and let you know the trade value.
  2. If you don't have pictures it never happened. Seriously good job. What did you have to pick the truck up with? Crane, wrecker, brute strength?
  3. I found a cool rollback and it's a Mack. Still out of my price range but I had to share. http://newyork.craigslist.org/que/cto/3279459804.html I think I got off topic but still had to show it.
  4. It's Trucker chic. All the rage in the interior design world - Lol
  5. I drove a UD 20' box truck years ago when I worked for a tire company. I was unimpressed with everything but the awesome turning radius.
  6. That is the rare articulating frame for those rough logging roads.
  7. One I found on truck paper was 40k rear and 16k front. Still out of my price range.
  8. I don't believe a 56k lb gvwr is MD but nice truck anyway. Also a bit out of my price range.
  9. I have a lot of seat time in the IH trucks and never had any major issues. I don't have a problem with getting a HD trucks, I just don't have a CDL (refer to my CDL post) and a MD truck I can hop right in and get to work. With a HD I will have to get my class B at least before I can run it. I actually found a (gasp) Volvo FE 24' rollback locally for cheap with a hitch so I can pull a 2 car trailer behind that might work. http://jerseyshore.craigslist.org/cto/3209860437.html I haven't jumped on anything yet just to make sure I spend my money wisely and run it as quickly as possible so I am not losing $ on my investment.
  10. In New Jersey we usually use both hands to flip off other drivers and steer with our knee.
  11. She looks a bit crusty but mostly there. Good luck on the restoration.
  12. This Dude I knew from street racing had a 71 Olds Cutlass he attempted to paint himself with a Wagner power painter and Sears Weatherbeater paint. Talk about runs and waterfalls. The side of the car had glossy curtains.
  13. I am going to a swap meet in a few weeks and there are a couple model guys that always have truck stuff. If I see one for a good price I'll it up for you.
  14. A buddy of mine just told me he has a hood for an R at his rental property. I told him about this site and asked me to post it for sale for him. He said its in real nice condition. Asking $500. Located in Howell NJ. I'm trying to get pictures this week. I can put it in my truck and bring it to the Gerharts show for the buyer if that helps. I thought it would make a cool ass desk!
  15. I know Mack had a Medium Duty called the Midliner before and if I recall they were Renault powered. Not quite my choice for an American icon. I am just trying to figure out why they dont try this market again? I look at company's like International, Frieghtliner, and lately i've seen Hino's all over the place with a huge share of the market. For a companies point of view, you would think they can do well in the 14,000-26,000lb trucks. Towing trucks, box trucks, small dumps and flatbeds etc under CDL could be big business. I am in the market for a good flatbed rollback and mostly focused on Internationals but have checked out a few Chevys. I would love to cruise a Mack rollback but the only ones I have seen are CDL required with tandums and one midliner that was overpriced. I really need a wheellift to haul two vehicles. Has anyone else thought this?
  16. I dig the R with the sleeper. What a sweet truck. That Brock is beautiful as well.
  17. I agree, there is nothing to lose by asking. I barter stuff all the time so it's worth going in person and approching them.
  18. I know that already. The 38' 2 car trailer we have at the shop I have no issues backing into driveways or putting it back in the hole behind the shop. My 8' 6' utility trailer is a bitch to back up because it jack knifes the second you turn the wheel and I can barely see it behind my truck.
