  1. This is a common problem most likey reflash will not fix might get better throttle response if this is older 2001-2004 model

  3. What year is the truck ? the fan solinoid wire has a extention harness comes off the back of the head drivers side rite below very last intake manifold bolt , most likely wire extension harness between back of head there and solinoid is cut somewhere .
  4. Dropping out could be almost anything shorted alt , block ground , fuel psi ,unit pump, throttle pedal , power relay 1-4 ...... hummmm where to start ?
  5. Check the wiring under the unit pump covers as the wiring gets old it gets brittle make sure that they are not rubbing against the cover or block . Unplug module and check pins for debris or coolant/oil/rust . You could also remove and swap unit pump to a differant cylinder to confirm that unit pump has failed.

  8. Check for boost leak in piping to charge air cooler and look make sure charge air cooler doesnt have a crack.
  9. Check where the lite harness and hood meet at bottom left side radiator and were wires go across hood brace they are bad about rubbing threw and shorting also in center dash panel behind head lite switch all lite wires go into a big plug connection and sometimes melt in the connection and of check fuses

  12. 90 e7 400 = fuel spec 21-37 boost 20-28 88 e6300 fuel 22-38 boost 15-23 best this to do is make sure you keep a good tuneup on the engine no boost leaks clean fuel , can bump timing up a coulpe degrees help a little or can have pump recalibrated at pump shop new set of spark plugs if you are still running orginals .

  18. Do this adjustment with engine off key off.
  19. Buff srew adjustment turn adjusting screw in until it contacts rack note the amount of rotation use a small lite screwdriver for this, back the adjusting srew out until it contacts the other side of the rack note how many rotations then turn srew halfway back into housing to center it by turning it back in exactly one half of the total distance from fully in to fully out. the tighten jam nut . Be carefull the rack is thin and easy to bend when it makes contact its a very lite touch .....to much in it bends rack to much out bends rack .
  20. If you run the rack buffing screw in too far you might have bent the rack also.
  21. Just had 2 def pump failures recently because of debris get dumped in def tank .
  22. Missed the dummy lines.
  23. Nice pics used to live in Colstrip Mt and remebering how big there draglines were , nice B maybe a mixer setup looks to be pretty heavy.
