Need to check and make sure you are not getting coolant in the oil ,this model had issues with liners leaking cooling into oil. Check back of oil fill cap for sludge and the draft tube filter.

Got mine today ,tryed a little and it is dam good stuff . Sad part though I missed the delivery chic was going to get a pic and post .

Coolant level can be bypassed with a paper clip or just add coolant the trans temp wires are most likely broken at the sensor this is common easy fix , the boost sensor could be wiring or defective sensor or you could have a bad boost leak causing sensor to code. Do you hear any boost leaks in a pull ? The charge air cooler is bad about splitting on right side top and the intake hose to air compressor this is part on intake system too check all hoses. -

If its turned the wrong way it will burn everthing had a brand new mru and did a regin melted hopper lites and wiring all air hoses to air lift top lid.

Buy the biggest extended magnets you can find and hold them up with rubber bands or turn your truck upside down that works too , also can ask to barrow cam lifter sticks from your local mack dealership.

If the malfunction lite is not coming on you are good these trucks run much hotter then the old school macks also make sure your oil is not diluited with fuel or water this will thin the oil making it hotter .

Yes oil is thick in cold weather takes longer to move.

If have plate style cooler its rite above filter in housing remove filter to see/get at if bundle style cooler its in filter mount housing coming in from back side of housing , if oil psi is coming up slow could be relief valve in oil pump also might be worn and sticking .

When it regins that pipe is 1800-2000 degress and it will melt plastic need to turn or extend and turn pipe away from intake its cooking your air filter.

I use some cascade dishwashing detergant in cooling system to flush it out , but pre mix it in some hot water first .

I like checking easy stuff first check air tanks for anifreeze or intake piping to air compressor for antifeeze unhook discharge line check there too. -
If its a round bundle cooler reman ones from mack are pretty cheap , if it a square style plate cooler replace witha new one.

64 code is 1939 data link code, main wires that talk between vecu and eecu green and yellow wire they are twisted pair.
