Check your throttle linkage it could be unkooked or backwards.
  2. Just wondering how that push rod made it past the lifter and cam to end up in oil pan? Sent from my SM-G386W using Tapatalk
  3. I've been thinking about converting my 88 R model from stud pilot to hub pilot. Has anyone done this and if so do you have any part #s for hubs. Mine is all Mack 12 f/a and rears 38s.
  4. Did you check pump timing? Sent from my SM-G386W using Tapatalk
  5. Good score. You got a piece of history there. Sent from my SM-G386W using Tapatalk
  6. It's a CH . I think I'm gonna put 5th wheel on it and run it for a tractor. I've been hauling light enough stuff I can probably get away with it. After that I don't know maybe convert to a pick up or sell it for something else. Sent from my SM-G386W using Tapatalk
  7. Bought it a couple hours away and was real impressed with the ride on way home. Real quiet inside cab and rides better than my R model on air ride even without a 5th wheel on back. Sent from my SM-G386W using Tapatalk
  8. Just picked up a sweet lil 2000 single axle E7 350 13 speed on air ride. Original owner 300 000 kms. Was custom ordered at factory high level interior and loaded with options. Bumper isn't bent it had a broken mount so I removed it and tied it in place. Sent from my SM-G386W using Tapatalk
  9. Sounds like once they would have perfected it. That would cause too much fuel savings and low cost for consumer so it was quickly cut short.
  10. Not sure what your plans are for this truck but at 380 your gonna have to work at it to ever damage the Trans. Depending on where your located I'd call a diesel tune shop to get your options. I've never bought anything from Rochester Diesel but I did talk to them on phone once and found them very helpful. Sent from my SM-G386W using Tapatalk
  11. Nice clean looking truck. Was it a V8 at one time with the dual breathers.
  12. Thanks Vlad I have one left and I'm going to hang on to it. It's on my shelf of Mack collectibles Sent from my SM-G386W using Tapatalk
  13. Mack was on other side of hwy from ford. Sent from my SM-G386W using Tapatalk
  14. I'm told with my 2000 E7 350 the mack dealer can boost computer to 400 hp. Anymore requires injectors and turbo. They can also set your road speed at any speed you want.
  15. Thanks for all replies. Sounds like any they have there issues. I'm gonna give it a good going over for oil leaks etc. Sent from my SM-G386W using Tapatalk
  16. That's a great job and seems to be a great product Sent from my SM-G386W using Tapatalk
  17. My brothers are looking at a truck for local float work. It has a 3176 Cat in it. It's a 1995 Aeromax. Anyone have any input on these engines. Thanks
  18. Not sure but in my R model it has air cylinders that move duct work to change heat flow. Could be cylinders not moving properly or duct work unhooked or stiff. I had heat problem in my R it was the cylinder not moving duct Sent from my SM-G386W using Tapatalk
  19. My only advice is be sure you get ok to run it from insurance company. If it's not compliant with there codes they won't cover you if you have a fire.
  20. I think if you use r model you have to cut a groove in it to allow for passengers mirror bracket. I think I have one on a DM if you can't find one.
  21. You need to put a extra switch in and divide your lights up. Your overloading the switch. Sent from my SM-G386W using Tapatalk
  22. Your on to something with pilot bearing. I remember when I had fuller out we checked the pilot bearing and had to change it because whoever installed the fuller wasn't aware of difference. I think the difference was the input shaft didn't sit far enough in the pilot bearing . It was simple fix we just changed bearing but measured distance from bellhousing to input shaft to make sure it sat in there properly Sent from my SM-G386W using Tapatalk
  23. Price is good for what I can see. If your able to work on it yourself. If not your better to spend the money and buy one restored. Sent from my SM-G386W using Tapatalk
  24. I live in southern Ontario. Gotta go north to get a chance to hit a moose.
