It will kick in automatically when you get wheel slip it will have what they call a set of peanuts in the front diff which will engage when needed.In my opinion a diff lock is better but that set up works fine as well.

I don't think there's any bumper brackets I don't have a vision bumper either but I do have a vision grill.I will double check on brackets though

I think I have a bracket it would be a passengers side.There are different ones do you have a pic of which style you have.

Still in truck can hear running

I have a set of Rockwell rear ends I know they are 4;30 ratio but I would like to know how heavy they are rated there are 2 sets of # on the tag the first is A21 3200P1420 the next is AVC88067408 can any tell me anything about these.Thanks Alex
