When think auto in a big truck i automatically think of the old 4spd allisons. But the new autos do very well, a local excavating company went to all autos and i know a guy that works for him and he had the same thought i did but he said he was suprised at how nice the were in a dump truck. And ever sence they quit breaking rears, drive shafts, and u joints plus he said in getting in and oult of places to dump and get loaded it was nice. Personally i like my gears and shifter. But i know if i ever would buy trucks for other people to drive theyd be autos. Also there is a youtube video by allison that shows two granites in a pea gravel pit the truck with the standard started hopping and got stuck the auto truck hooked to him and pulled him out. I was impressed with it.

Ya mack and IH were the only makers that made the entire truck top to btm. Ive been told the new paccar engine is a cummins painted silver

Ya the b is owned by a guy named Steve Baker real nice guy he owns commercial truck and equipment sales and its just west of st albans they have a hurricane wv address he has a web site but i dont think the b is listed. And ya Bill Thomas and thats what he said is he hauled logs with it. Im still trying to remember where i buried my last mayo jar so i get her home before she gets scrapped

Thats how i got mine, just pay attention for frame rust and seperation. It is a good way to get a new puppy, not alot of people beating down doors to buy old concrete trucks. Plus you can scrap the mixer body for about a grand and be that much more to the good

Im going to agree on its heritage after a quick google images search i see lots of mason dixon b67's (and they all have the tall air intake) but no carolina ones did they have 67's or just mostly 61's

Ok so its not as a bastard truck as i orig thought. Hmmm i might look into tryin to see what i can get her for and put her back to a tractor. And put a real floor back, before the wasps run me off i did notice a nice cab floor of 3/4" plywood

I didnt think the rr would be orig. now that you mention it the shift pattern tag was old. I reckon someone just put a longer shifter and a new style knob. I wanted to get some interior pics but when i opened the door out came the wasps. I think it has a 711 engine? Looks clean and not a slime ball

Well saw these today. The b is kinda rough doors are bad but had two extra in the bed and someone has took the two stick out and installed a 10spd rr it does have maxi's and supposedly tye engine has just been redone. Good looking cl700. And i thought the rb was pretty nice

No intercooler yet, tip turbine came out in '73. What this is one tube connects to the intake the other is just to draw warm air from under the hood
