  1. No intercooler yet, tip turbine came out in '73. What this is one tube connects to the intake the other is just to draw warm air from under the hood
  2. The mr screams old usps
  3. Have to get a pic of our rig tomorrow
  4. Most likely and someone correct me if im wrong but its prob. just a different year/ series h model like the IH transtars. The 4070a's had wipers mounted below the windshield and 4070b's were mounted above
  5. Well good. And youll have those teething problims. Just hope thats it and that their nickel and dime ones
  6. I see a intagrated sleeper autocar in the background
  7. By all means please do!!!!! Where is it?
  8. Do you have a pic of the truck your looking at? And that is a good point hyd brakes only stop decent empty and loaded especially with a full tandem load not to mention that with a gas engine are you going to hate your life if you have any hills to run but if you do get any speed up you it wont stop in a 40 acre field. I used to have a 1700 loadstar school bus turned into a flatbed. It had a great running 392 run great empty but with only 8000 lbs it was a dog
  9. Only thing ahe needs is a visor. And glad you left the air horn covers off i like to look of open horns
  10. I thought the same thing. Heck scrp price is worth more than that
  11. Dont think ive ever seen a g model. Looks like a cross between a h and a mh
  12. Ok ya ive seen the old tandem loadstars. Ive got a soft spot for the old cornbinders too. Well for a tag you could also do what some concrete trucks do around here they have hyd. lift tags. They are there own fully contained spring set or air bags and a hyd cylinder to raise and lower. Air bag set would be the easiest to work with just a 12v comp a tank and a regulator ant presto. If you want to get cocky use a long enough cyl. and you could use it to lift your tandems and change your tires
  13. Looks like it hasnt had any love for a long time but still has great potential!!! Would they be interested in getting rid of it for a smaller single axle wet line tractor? Or just sell?
  14. Ohh thats cool. The really look like paintings
  15. I like the color combo. Noticed the gooseneck ball do you use her
  16. Pics would help in giving you info on what kinda truck you have. Also the trucks model tag which will be on the drivers door
  17. What are you looking at that is twin screw with hyd. brakes?
  18. My transtar has the alu. Tanks. And yes only 4070's ive seen with dual exhaust had 318 Detroit's
