  1. 4020 and 5020 are both listed in the ad. It appears to be a 5020.
  2. That is a great photo !
  3. You will have to have a picture of one on the truck. - "Festiva Equipped"
  4. You reported that you had been in contact with Sheppard about getting parts. Did you ask them about a solution to the problem you have? They may have customer service/technical help people who could go through setting it/troubleshooting it with you. Or try googling to find a business that does repair/rebuilding of steering boxes and contact them and ask about it. Explain that you cannot remove the box. They may or may not be willing to help but it does not hurt to ask.
  5. The first thought would have to be that somethihg with the sleeving or in the disassembly and reassembly that was done is causing the problem. If it was bored and sleeved possibly there is an alignment problem ?
  6. The safety manager at work wears a .... camo - high visibility vest. That wins the prize for the greatest oxymoron ever. http://www.safetyshirtz.com/safetyshirtz-ss360-backwoods-camo-safety-vest-class-2/?utm_medium=googleshopping&utm_source=bc&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIhJHplqC82AIVE7nACh3mtgciEAYYBCABEgJS4fD_BwE
  7. Those 5 would make it my best ever
  8. Remember when that style used to be called a snub nose or stub nose truck.
  9. Check to see if the outlet hose from the neck is blocked.
  10. Here is a possibility. http://www.mykmlifestyle.com/Antique_Parts_Rebuilds.html Otherwise a Hemmings Motor News would probably be the best place to look.
  11. There are a whole lot of Americans who have never been introduced to it.
  12. From Wikipedia: 1987: The Series 60 — the four-cycle heavy-duty engine for which the company is well known — was introduced. It was the first production engine to have integrated electronic controls as a standard feature. The Series 60 was cleaner and more fuel-efficient than previous heavy-duty engines, and quickly became the biggest selling heavy-duty diesel engine in the North American Class 8 truck market. 1988 January 1: A joint venture between Penske Corporation and General Motors created Detroit Diesel Corporation. Penske had a 60% majority ownership in the new venture and the CEO was former racecar driver Roger Penske.[2][3]
  13. A Brandt Peterbilt here. I think they use an Allison transmission. The trains weigh a lot, but move much easier on the rails. Jump to :50
  14. Index: https://omnimagindex.wordpress.com/ eBay most likely has any issue you would want.
  15. Right here: https://www.bigmacktrucks.com/topic/51722-1960-b61/
  16. Having a girl that knows how to use a gun can be dangerous...
  17. This has been discussed on other forums. There was supposed to have been one in California a few years ago, but the grill is gone. No others have been reported. There was another Sterling model of the same style, I think it was the L.
  18. It looks like the MR is set to pass the R Model for the longest running cab, which was 40 years.
  19. I think he is talking about ALL Packard trucks produced when he is saying that there are only 50 left and most went to war.
  20. Do you know when the last one was built?
  21. Have a barn-raising party first. Then a dance party.
  22. It looks like both of the B- hood emblems are gone. Possibly an early B-75? What does the data plate say?
  23. Possibly if it is only class 8 trucks. Ford and GM sell millions of pickup trucks using the same cabs.
