  4. I was working for mack when the 20 stud block was changed from studs to cap screws. The best i can remember was same block was used on the first maxidyne which used cap screws plus the different liner that used the fire ring head gasket and a groove in the head.So check the cap screws out for a replacement for studs. The first ENDT 673C used studs

  11. I should say some ch used the fixed orfice return valve and some used the valve with a spring and plunger.
  12. On a CH the check valve or pressure regulator may be just a fix orfice valve. My guess is the supply pump is letting the fuel drain back. Some ch was both ways.
  13. make sure the stop lever is going back to run postion all the way.If so then it may be a rack sticking and if so pump needs to go in.Water in fuel will stick a rack fast.It may be a 96 year built and just a 97 title.
  14. I remember when the clutch brake was made up with two of those fiber disc and a metal disc with two tangs on the inside and the metal disc was in the middle of the fiber. If the flywheel was ground too much you used three of the fiber.
  15. And the fuel pressure should be checked under a load.
  16. Thats for when the flywheel has been ground out of limits
