  1. I alway like the C model and wished i had one instead of the B i still have. When i started working it was for the mack dealer and the C was still in production. There was one here that came in that had a end 864 in it.
  2. I will say for you guys who cant or dont work on your own truck that you are screwed if you have a new truck or a old truck.I am talking about a truck that holds down a full time job ever day 5 or 6 days a week.Any of them need a ever day look over and if you keep it up so it will pass a dot inspection you will need a good paying job.Freightliner and KW here charge 145.00 per hour for labor and with a old trucks many of the guys working on them are not that old.If you know and can work on your truck like i and others then its not so bad. What happens so many times is you get in to a old truck cheap and by the time you get it road worthy it too late to bale out and then you keep spending money on it till you or it gives up.I know i have one that i run and its the same way.But it hauls same weight ever day as the new ones.It just not down ever other week at the dealer for a no gen problem.
  3. One thing she has said is true and that is the 9513 is too small for the mack engine unless your going to make a toy truck of it.
  4. Duct tape has its place some times.
  5. Thats called self employment. Not ever one can have a goverment job.I wished we all did.
  6. With that shaft the trans will be a RT913 or a RT9513 or a RTO9513 and the shaft comes if still available in a S1150 kit. This uses the small out put seal/
  7. Will it run on starting fluid?
  8. Look on the seal
  9. Hold the brg up to the light and look inside to the inside of the race inside the brg.
  10. And dont forget to fill the hub with oil before sliding it back on.
  11. I buy filter kits here at our dealer and he did tell me last week that they are different color now and made by a different company.
  12. I am still going to walk out in the shop and get the part number off this pump.
  13. If its a 04 then it should be a ETEC
  14. None and you need to use the mack truck wiring harness for the engine and trans.Sorry to bear bad news but its not a easy task.
  15. I have a Vmac same way and one that uses the paper gasket. It even makes the flywheel housing different because of the bolt holes being different size.
  16. On a E7 there is two oil pans of same size. One uses a thick rubber gasket and the other one uses a paper gasket and bolts are different size so they will not interchange.
  17. I think the ports are smaller on the eaton so it may not deliver enough air for a fast shift.I would not try it.
  18. Just remember this friends about all of them and that is God has a plan for them. Our God knows who did what and when.
  19. Looks like some one stills want Hillary.
  20. Take it to the scales and weight it/Most truck stops have them.
  21. No not for a 220 he needs a model 20.Get on just old trucks and ask for Aaron i think he had one.
  22. I forgot to say i have seen a few broken and i myself think it may have been air pressure problem.I know each axle design uses differnt pressures but like said that sound to be excess pressure for 7000 lbs.To find out it needs to be put on scales and axled out to find proper air pressure. &0 pls may b good for 13000 lbs.
  23. That is a light axle and if its not watch close this will happen.I think its from hi centering against the stops and also how much air pressure is in the bags.I also think if the axle fails to raise when backing it could help breake it.I would like to have lighter axles but you dont need to be getting off the hiway with these light axles. That looks like a Hendrickson and i am afraid to try to use them that light.
  24. Let me make a comment here and say something about testing air air cooler.I have seen them tested differnt ways and if your not applying 25 or 30 psi to it your going to miss a leak.A good freind of mine that i run with was having low boost and i ask him how he check. He say soap and water with it running 2100.We get it here after work and pressure it up and no more than 10 psi can i get on it and it was the cooler cracked.I ant charging for this info so check it out.
