  1. The oil filter is 236GB311A
  2. My son when he was young put his dog food in a trash barrel in a shed near the dog pen. There was a coon getting into the barrel at night so i told him to use 110. That worked great for maybe a week till he for got one evening to disconnect the 110.I heard him squeal.
  3. Soapy water is good but if you will go to a store who sells propane or supplys and buy some propane detector and put in your spray bottle you will be happy with the way it bubbles forever when it finds a leak.I used it years back when i worked on propane powered trucks and you dont have to spay very much on and hors later its still bubbling.
  4. Back when the NH335 was running in many trucks, I know of 237 engines that would leave here with the Cummins and be on location next day same time. From the amount of trucking I have done, I found that in a six hour run, 50 more HP doesn't get you there any sooner if you're running the speed limit. Many guys that try to run a Maxidyne think they have to shift at 1700 when not knowing that is were the Maxidyne is pulling good.
  5. No it dont plug in at the pump.Look under the dash on the left side for the data plug.I to like the pro link.I have one with all of the card or cartridges that i need. Most i found on ebay at half price. One even had the dealerships name on it.
  6. My mechanical E7 that i run has 427 vmac pistons injectors and turbo in it and the injection pump maxed out on the rack and have no problems.
  7. The rust may clean up but the brgs will not make it and if you run it and let the brgs go down the the gears will be toast.
  8. Its 100.00 fine in ok but i never hear of anyone getting finned. The problem is its hard for a law officer to go thru your phone toseeif you was on the phone unless he has a reason to do so.I think there should be a way of turnning the phone off if the truck is moving. I to think the trailer brakes was not working like need be.I run a dump and see alot of trucks which is not fit to be on the road but DOT just dont do that much about them here.
  9. If i had that and liked it i would tear it down and sand blast the gears and shaft then replace the brgs.
  10. As long as your dreaming then dream big.But when it comes to impressing the crowd thats a lot of money to get to be in the limelight for a evening.
  11. I have used this filter on the last two oil changes and parts man told me they were a change in the numbers.
  12. Mercedes had a V10 maybe in the mid 70s in white trucks. The part i remember about it was it had twin exhaust that was i think 3"
  13. its not old at all because when you let the overhead go that long the valves and seats start to burn and one can not say how even the valves will wear from one cyl to another,
  14. Also when you use a gear puller on the steering wheel to remove get something under the lower u/joint to keep the shaft from slipping down and it will be much easy to reinstall.
  15. Who needs a low anyway.
  16. I work with many dump trucks with lift axle behind rear drives but here is something to think about. If your hauling mostly asphalt i would not do that.Reason is when you back into a laydown machine with the over hang behind the drives it is hard to stay in the laydown machine with your apron when laying asphalt around a slight corner. With some of the big laydown machines its not that big of a problem. If you haul only rock then go for it. The good thing about mounting a drop behind drives is your drive wheel alignment is not changed. But the Ackermann geometry on the steer axle is. And yes the frame extension has to be done right with good frame rail to be able to carry the load at the end of the frame.
  17. What is it off of?
  18. The A/C was made up from car A/C parts. It had a vacuum pump for the A/C controls and don't remember now but i think the vacuum pump was electrical driven.
  19. If i was you i would air that tank up and see how long it will hold air before i spend any time with paint.
  20. 4V and i will see if i can get the numbers off of it soon.
  21. Looking at the meat loaf makes me want to beat the old woman and come live with other dog.
  22. I have a E6 AMBAC 350 injection pump with 200000 miles since new from mack and injector same mileage plus the pump drive 1200.00
  23. Any thing that is causing it to be slow can be repair and there is nothing wrong with the Vmac. But you can chance it by replacing the fuel pump and injector lines. If i was going to do this i would call manders 952 4691899.Talk to them and tell you are looking for a 350 HP chance over and he can tell you and should have what you want in used parts. I am running one now myself.
  24. I think we all should belong to a union. Then it would be fair working for all.I am not against unions but let me say this.I haul into some construction sites some times were its all union workers. If you was laying there burning to death you better pray because no one will help you.Its not their job title. We was hauling asphalt to a contractor there and the forman of the contrator told us if any one ask what local you belong to tell them you working for us.I got my load off and start around the building a guy stops me and ask who i was.I told him i was hard hearing so could he get close to me he say no.In a second another man came out and said leave him along and he leaves. He look up at me and said you better leave.I did but what this tells me about unions will stay in my mind.I belong to the teamsters years back when i went to freightliner dealer here and it only broke the man that owned the dealership.I found out that workers at the building site was all from out of state. But TeameterGrrl as for as vaction and pay and insurance you know well that the rest of the non union works help pay for those. And if we was all union then you would not have nothing on us.This job site problem is not the first site that we have problems at.About three years ago we haul for two years off and on to a retirement center being built by union help. There is a man that meets you at the gate and tells you to move over and waite for some one to walk you and your truck to the site. There is a curve half way down and that is as for as he takes you.Now he walks away and you may set for half hour till some one else takes you on it.Meam time you just sit wondering if your going to get unloaded or not.I have alot of liberal freinds but your not one of them.
  25. The cover on the front of your injection pump is only a dust cover for the rack.It also serves a place to check your static rack setting.Pull it off and take a look.
