  1. The 250 came out same time as the 237 and that would be in late 65 or 66.Before the 250 the turbo engine was a 205 and did not have the 20 bolt head or the oil cooled pistons. I was working at the mack dealer then.I could be wrong cause that was long time ago.
  2. For you that want to keep up on were America is tune in on the jimmy Swagard show and wait for Francis and freinds come on. This is more enlighten to me and also they have some bible to back it up with. This country has been sold out by both side but many the liberal have cashed in on us and will not let nothen get in there way to get to suck up some more to obama.
  3. Let me tell you how to remove them with out heating the axle beam and i have did many this way. With a torch cut the thrust brg out from under the axle beam were it set on top of the spindle. Then with it out of the way cut the king pin and cut about 1/2" out of it. Then lift the spindle up and cut the king pin above the axle beam under the spindle. Now the spindle is out of the way.Let it cool and then grind off smooth the top of the king pin. Alot of the times the pin will fall out with a small hammer. If not i have some 1 ' cold roll that i weld about 6" on top of the king pin and then with a jack under the axle beam supporting some weight use a big hammer on top of the cold roll. It will come out and you have not put much heat in the axle beam. Any time the metal is heated it does nothen good for the metal as for as cracking and falling off going down the road. When your doinbg it for a customer he pays for your time and no reason to stick your neck out and take a chance that will surly come back on you just to save him some time and money.same way with heating tie rod ends and dray links. A drag link arm broke last summer on a freinds truck and he amits he had been heating on it. Two years ago same truck the tie rod arm broke when sitting still and he tells me he has heated on them for always and that is the first he had heard of this. Luck has it when the drag link arm breaks it in most case not being moved and creating more stress by trying to turn wheels sitting still.
  4. That is due to a stupid and greedy truck salesman in most cases.
  5. I remenber back in themid 60s when there was some B models here with the sanie engine in it. END 475
  6. I hope to see that truck some day when your done with it.
  7. I have seen more thrust button than that break but who knows were they came from. I mean they may have been a brand x. The truck i drive has a set of brand x in it and alot more cheaper but they may not last that long either. Now on a tapered pin i have not seen a axle beam with the pin too loose in it.On a strait pin it is more often found were the pin is too loose and a sleeve has to be installed or replace it.
  8. I dont know what was just said there but i to wonder why run it with no oil pressure.Put a gauge in top of oil filter and check one more time and if no pressure get the pan off and find out what has gone wrong.
  9. Tell us about the F and will you be selling it?
  10. Try to remenber that all tho we would like to get even with this scum bag but the Lord all mitety has a better plan and place for him.

  14. A NH 220 will us a 8 7 17 cup and should have a flow stamped in the body of 132 cc
  15. It may be very well that the president is working for China and when we are unable to help our self then they can take over with out any problems. Then when that happens there will still be many liberals still sucking up to this great devider. He wants a race war to start and keeps telling his suck ups that things are getting better.I think he could maybe hang some of them with a new rope and their lips would still be sucking like a bugle mouth carp.
  16. The heads bolts are different in the corners on the early models. They will be 3/4 in the corners and on the later 711 they will be 20 bolts per head.
  17. Make sure the batterys are good and fully charged and all cables are conneted.

  20. I HAVE NEVER LOOK IT UP AS FOR AS LEGAL BUT SOME ONE I TRUST WITH ANYTHING ALMOST TELLS ME THAT IT IS NOT LEGAL TO RUN CAPS ON A PASSENAGER CARRY VEHICLE BUT OK FOR AS A COMMERIAL TRUCK. i RUN CAPS ON A CESSNA 180 AIRPLANE.
  21. Charge direct to the battery with both cables and that would be neg to neg and pos to pos.
  22. A few weeks ago the IHC bus plant here told the employees in a meeting that it would be a good thing for them to vote the UAW in. Up untill the first of the year the bus plant had said they would move out of state if this happened. In todays paper it stated that the employes had voted the union in. My son works there and he says ever one he knows thinks its a double cross by the union and goverment. My question is what is behind this and why would IHC want the union in the work place anyway?I have wonders if the UAW is not a share holder of IHC.
