I could be a spring chamber leaking some till its released. Get some one to listen for a leak at the rear while you release the parking parking brakes.

Randyp last summer we was hauling asphalt to a smaller town here and late in the even they got in a hurry and told us when we get thru dumping in the lay down machine pull out and around the truck in front of you.And for them to be raising their bed and then dump when they feel the lay down machine. And the emty truck pull out and around in front and stand your bed up and clean out.This truck behind me did that and as i was backing up he stood his bed up into a hi/line wire or wires. Sparks and a grass fire. I grab the mic and told him ten times that he would die if he gets out. little later electric .fire and police was there and got him out. Two hrs later i pulled into my place he called me and thanked me for keeping him in there cause he said he would have got out cause he wanted to see. So happened the wire that fell on his truck was hot and did not break a circuit like it should have.

Let me share my ideals with you here. Obama has sold us to china.Word is that the people from china have done been here and picked out the land they want first.It will be the land of oil and gas and coal. That is why obama is holding off the oil drilling and coal mining and he thinks he can keep it that way till he gets all of our money given away and our way of borrowing more money is no longer avaiable.Word is that china will move millions of people here in the next 4 years then more as we disapear.They dont want any arms laying around ready to go off so they told him to get them outlawed. I have heard a man say that a ex military freind of his is saying obama is getting rid of the top military command that will not kill americans if they dont disarm.So he wants obama to be freinds to the muslins so if he needs brown shirts he can call in millions of them which is wanting to come over here and kill some one anyway.The goverment is using the home land security and fema because the money is there and congress cant cut it off. You may know what i am trying to ask and may not have any thing to do with this problem. My son changed a engine out yesterday and today. It was 95 VMAC and he pulled a cap plug off of a adjusting screw on the side of the pump mis ways back on pump and i would say against the rack. He screwed on it not thinking and when he started it it was jacking off at idle. It was ok in the other truck so i pull the cap and adjust the loping out of it. I would say not knowing that its a rack tension spring, right? any way its good to go now.

Sounds like you can do it your self only thing is you need some one there to show you how to do it and maybe they can bring their press when they come.Ya the tool that holds the outer cam is hard to find or make to.This may be the reason mechanics charge as much as they do. Shop rates are high ubtill you start to figure what equipment you need. I am just glade my son does my heavy duty repairs.

Pett This is what he was wanting to hear but i will say same thing as Rob its to expensive to try to make a living with a truck and have to rebuild it cause you want to pull like a cat. Only way to make 400 safe power is with a E7 Vmac.

Are you sure your on # 1 cyl?And another thing if you have had the pump off you could have it one turn off if the tang or pointed pin is broken off of the pump drive coupler.If the pin is still on the coupler then you have to been in time with the engine so it sounds as if your on # 6.When you are at TDC with 1 and 6 the valves will be up on both cyl but they have just over lapped on # 6 when coming to TDC when rotating the engine.The over lap means the intake exhaust valve just closes and then the intake starts to open and that is over lap, so its opposing cyl up will be ready to set valves or to fire.This is at TDC but your timing it 29 degress before you get there.I have seen barrels and plungers worn out enough that they will never stop flowing but will slow down to just a small dribby.

Some of the # 6 hose and fitting we get here is way below specs for inside diameter on the swivels. I have run in to that a few times my self on the coolant lines.

This is not a woodward hydraulic governor is it?On that governor you have to remove the servo piston cap and block the rack in full fuel postion to set the timing.
