As smart as she is she amase me for taking up for the trader. If she has any kids or grand kids she should know that she owes them the same thing we had in our life. I am not knocking the Unions but all of us cannt belong to a union.Can we? But what gets me some times is a job that i haul rock into sometimes has one man to direct you into the job yard and turn you around and start to get you backing up then he hands you off to nother man that wants to stand on the right side of your truck behind you and direct you on in to the dump site. If one is not there i dont think you will get unloaded because one told us its not his job to walk you all the way to the back. I am sure this is a union job.

I dont know cause when we used them they had a shop here in Tulsa to do rods and heads but the okla city store would come and pick up things that weht to the city. For the last 25 years i guess i have used Memorial Machine here and they also have a shop at the city. They have got into very large engine machine work.But started with truck engines.

To pull rear section you need a tool group or build your own plates unless its in a cab over. A cab over you can use some tir wire and cut it as you go in.

Broadway machins now i ant tought of them in 25 years. Is Linda still the owner?I used them alot back in the eary 80s or late 70s and they had a store in Tulsa also.But Broadway was around back in the mid 60s that i know of.

The collar that the thro out brg is on is a threaded collar and it will screw in or out of the pressure plate. But there is a spanner lock nut on the collare next to the pressure plate you break aloose first.You dont have to hold clutch pedal down to adj. Set the clearance like a spicer of 1/2" and do this first.Then adjust the linkage next to get maybe 1/2" of brake on bottom. The free travel should then come out ok but its better to have some free travel than normal if the brake is ok. glenn
