I know its all about function not looks,,,,,,,,,,,,But I (and most likely you) would have come up with a filler plate so the lights would be even. If it was mine I would have put a CH bunk on,,It would fit like it came from the factory.

Don't normally watch it,,,, but have,,,,, to see this new Mack and nothing but last episode showed the new tri-drive Western Star Maybe Western star slipped a few more dollars to them not to show the new Mack or maybe its broke

I knew you would be on top (with european knowledge )on the tank But I hate change Seen the wheel bases getting longer and longer to try and except a right side tank If,,,,,,,,,,,, The new Macks are getting such good fuel mileage then a 100 gal tank will give you a 550 mile day (this is a dump spec truck)If they need a bigger tank then their tonnage rate is low, but that's what Ive seen with people today running dumps 100,000 miles a year,,,go back 25 years,,,, dumps would put 15,000 miles a year on and made as much as they do today.. I hate change,,,,,,,,,,, but will remember what it was

Have not spoke with Joe or Charles Latona (bad reception where I'm working),, But I did talk to Dan at Kee Equipment,,,He said he has the build sheet for further info,,but told me it had a V8 for the first year in operation But the customer had bad luck with the V8 and Mack put the Cat engine in to keep this customer happy (JUST LIKE MACK.. TODAY ),the company from Hazleton bought 4 of them that year ( Joe ,,mentioned the name but I cant remember the name of the company) Truck ser# is 1086 Dan said he didn't know rear size so he guess on 58's but he is pretty sure he is wrong.

Hello,John Sorry for not getting back to you earlier,,,,,,Snow kept me out for a few days,,,,,,,,,But I did call Joey,The day after I found it,,,,with the same questions as you,They must be heavier then what they listed,, also I heard it had a V8 ,,,,,,But I haven't spoke to him in months and the conversation started on this truck and the bias ply tires(because he doesn't know your guy for tires) then went to the gas drilling..... His brother Listed the truck and a couple of CL's and RD's with the broker. Then lost cell phone reception and have not tried him since.
