  4. No I sorry I know what the box does (I have one)and what some of these so called (pump shops) tell people its a scam and way over priced 90% of the Mack's on the road run like crap and can do better with a few tricks but what these guy's are telling you is not real horsepower numbers
  5. Please don't talk horsepower numbers unless it's been put on a dyno 450 plus horsepower you should be pulling side by side with a 550 Cat not 460 Mack Just say you are happy with it don't miss lead us

  12. But then yet they didn't wait for Titan name ether they called it in 2005
  13. Yet again those crazy Canuck's are not waiting for Mack to put out a sleeper
  14. If you want a muffler use ser#4370 it has the the brackets turned really close and more to the side of the cab It is so close the grab handle is in the cab
  15. A GU with a steel body is running 140,000 with a little engine If you want aluminum 35,000 sounds right I paid 27,000 13 years ago (spec heavy) If you are talking about Tuzzie in Carbondale Pa I think he has been buying pete's and Kenworth's
  16. Heard them on Cat's they were 6" and helped, gave them a deeper tone
  17. Looks like it is set up for any application with the glad hands (trailer lines) Body co. will do lift axle Because Mack is too expensive from the factory. Dave tell them your price you were quoted with body and axle Since you are buying it
  18. All I can say is if you are buying a truck from the USA or any country that gets used trucks imported. look it over really good. Most of the time what you are buying is something that no one in the USA wants Dealt with exporters that barely spoke English and don't care about if it is roadworthy or safe
  19. Boy, that is alot of info thanks
  20. http://www.truckpaper.com/listings/detail....52810491F2A6395 This is a members truck (scratch) 99% sure. That truck has the same 44" double eagle that my Magnum had.
  21. Thanks, Trent all of the spec's I could find was at the flywheel. Maybe the (AC) chain drive was to the ground I don't know.
  22. Oh I hear you, here is my input .Mack Knew that 300hp was bulletproof and gave peek torque numbers. Mack was stubborn in changing what worked for decades. Also Mack had up on the competition was the 5spd trans 1 to 1 to the rears very little power loss and a long power range, so when the competition is down shifting (losing road speed) the Mack is still plugging along Here is torque number for 1993 e7 EM7-300 1425 lb.ft at 1020 rpms (Maxidyne) that is almost the same as a Detroit series 60 450hp E7-350 1277 lb.ft at 1250 rpms(Econodyne) on the road the 300 felt stronger then the 350 because of torque Also fly wheel horsepower on the EM7 is 300 at 1750rpm and 310 at 1500rpm This is why I set my peak horsepower between 1500 and 1600rpm's for torque With the wheel load dyno the formula is a loss of 60 to 70 hp from the flywheel to the ground with the engine fan locked on add another 15hp
  23. He did ask what we think Yes, he said it is a Renault on his paperwork but If I owned a Magirus I would find a Renault Badge for the door or a Mack grill
