  1. Vinagro out of Johnston ri runs a couple of super liners perhaps they'd be interested in another?
  2. I wish I'd had my phone the other day when I saw one mounted to a 86ish blazer. I'm sure it's around town ill l Have to keep an eye out
  3. You wouldn't understand, you don't have to shovel sunshine...
  4. I can't tell from here but are you sure that's paint and not primer? Also your local Mack dealer should be able to tell you a thing or two going off the last 6 or 8 digits of the vin.
  5. I love it! Can't wait to watch this restoration. What part of Maine are you in?
  6. What's the scrap price in Iowa? Or anywhere else, I'm just curious.
  7. If he throws in delivery ill take it!!!
  8. The haul of fame truck museum located on packer rd. in Canterbury ct is a really cool place. Every once in a while I will drive through the yard full of old iron lots of cranes and dozers and then a trip down "memory lane" an old bone yard that's really starting to thin out. I just wanted to make sure you guys knew about this place. The actual museum is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays. If your close enough take a ride through and check it out. Also I talked with Dennis Yaworski(owner) tonight and he reminded me that there is another museum located close by and is open daily.
  9. Little bit of snow in CT
  10. It's not easy to keep a truck clean, especially with what some of these trucks are exposed to. Here in New England most towns use salt to keep the roads clear of ice and off road you've got to contend with mud and trees bushes and branches. It's an endless battle but a clean truck is a happy truck regardless of make/model
  11. I saw that on cl, I bet it'll clean up nice. Hope to see some more pics as the work begins
  12. If a set of tires cost more than the rig then IMO it prob isn't road worthy and the buyer should plan on investing money anyhow.
  13. Haha not a problem
  14. Gotcha. As long as they are the same size you can drive it, 10 new tires can cost a lot but you gotta spend money to make money
  15. I heard they opened a pit in sterling, hear-say I don't know if its true or not. There isn't a ferry from ri that I know of so they have to hop on the boat in ct. Also heard that the guys that go on the ferry can only do 1 load a day! The company must be doing something right though? Right? I've seen 12 granites in their yard and a few Pete rolloffs plus the 5 at Ballard Mack, that doesn't include the ct operation.
  16. Ultimately the tires on a truck are irrelevant, if someone wants to buy a truck the tires are prob one of the easiest things to change, it's not like he put a Prius motor in it. Idk just my thought
  17. I run a tri axle autocar/Volvo rolloff, it's such a rugged truck I love it. It's got both Volvo and autocar badges( 100th year for autocar) I seriously don't think I'd rather drive another rolloff. Bring back the autocar!
  18. According to Facebook, there is a group from CT (Connecticut Coal Rollers) that is trying to organize a fundraising convoy. Initially it was supposed to be on the 5th of January but due to the overwhelming interest it had to be postponed for logistical reasons. The funds raised will be donated to the Newtown youth and family services. So far over 1000 people plan on attending so it will def tie up traffic for a bit. I plan on going but am still waiting for more details, anybody else hear of this?
  19. No problem, I figured it would explain why the rep was so generous with info.
  20. Click on the bmt members gallery. It's a picture of a black granite with flames on the hood
  21. They have a yard in Charlestown/ westerly ri. Go to www.thewesterlysun.com and search for "copar" or "quarry" you should find an article or two. Also there are 5 more brand new trucks tri axles at the Mack dealer in RI
