    Ah, I was wondering if the 625 was a fleet number, I will have to look into it and Id it correctly. Either way the thing is a house!

    We do get soot visible on the white paint and the driver says when the truck regens the rear glass is hot to touch.

    I will be traveling tomorrow to investigate the ther truck that Mack speaks of both to confirm the configuration and to take measurements on the stack. Thank you, though an obvious easy fix its def better to hear it from an unbiased source. Again thank you

    Ballard seems to think its from a sitting regen, but the only time it ever sat during regen was there one time. They took pics and are going to talk to "the factory" also, another hauler has the same truck/body configuration and doesn't have a problem...I think I'm gonna take it in the shop and try to locate the dpf filter as mentioned above.

    Thought about the body causing some sort of flow restriction or rerouting the exhaust. It not like this is the first front loader made so I kinda figured any problems like that would have been sorted out. When the truck regens the exhaust temp is hot hot enough to prob melt paint or cause some other problem. Also the cab guard has a cut out above the stack. The truck runs a tight route in town daily and runs to the landfill(40 miles one way) on the highway.

    Ya but how does that happen? Does it change back? It runs fine, no dash lights or anything.

    2013 MRU613, roughly 6000 miles mp7 Allison auto front load garbage truck. The problem is the air filter is filthy, like crazy filthy looks like soot. Anybody ever see or hear of a problem like this. Also notices the screen for the the intake is plastic mesh and has gotten hot enough to shrink.

    Those pics on flicker say they were taken in 2012, there was plenty there to keep me busy for hours. I went sun with the wife, took my boy on Monday and plan to go back solo so I can take in all I want at my own pace.

    Confirmed today, "the end of the line" is there. The very last one to roll off the production line. Umodelnut, what I thought might have been a u was actually an r-700.

    I'm not sure about the u. I also understand that the yaworskis had a few super liners. All I can say is check this place out and you'll know first hand. Lol

    It was there the first time I went and actually walked through the building on packer rd. but it's only open on wed and thurs so I haven't been in there in a couple years.

    Just remembered that he's got a Wellington truck from WWII I believe and the "end of the line" the very last superliner to roll off the production line.

    I wish I could have seen the whole collection before it was broken up. But from what I understand it was a business deal and the trucks were collateral. Bummer. Vision that A model is pretty rare, I guess it's an early '28, it's got a red steering wheel and the e brake is to the left of the driver just like the model t Umodelnut. I think I may have spotted a u, ill look into it tomorrow.

    I wasn't aware of the tv program, but I know that part of the original collection ended up going to a new owner because of a legal issue. However there are a lot of really cool trucks still there. Also the men(who I believe volunteer) are full of knowledge. I could spend hours there! Also there is 2 locations only a couple miles away.

    There was a good handful but i was short on time and only snapped a couple pics on my phone. I plan on going back tomorrow, hopefully I won't be in such a rush.
