  1. Should be a cap engine side front you may be able to grt at the rack end from there! Be gentle!
  2. are You parts canoning short the the wires see if the code changes to short!
  3. If You can get it into gear with out grinding AND you have the Inch and a half on the pedal I agree leave the bear sleeping! If it aint broke don't fix it! never seen one with out a clutch brake how ever ! in a unit this old they tended to put a spring loaded plate on the trans side for the brake to but against this one apears to have nothing! A picture with the pedal to the floor would maybe tell us if the brake is there or not!
  4. Turds!!!!!
  5. It may derate you may be fine to get home with it!
  6. I have resorted to an impact chisel for these ! I have a 16 inch one just for this job! They can get nasty seized !
  7. I have actually adjusted one or two of these easier to remove it more room to work! If the ring will move is another issue! When we get our worker back he can decide!😂🙄
  8. Nah we have all the say ! He just owns the truck! 😂
  9. I say we make sure the brake is operating then remove that lock and see if he can move the ring with a big screw driver!
  10. I was thinking that also ! I have seen that plate lock with tab on it!
  11. Nothing! That’s the point! Just sayin he needs to check! Starting at the beginning!
  12. I wouldn’t go that rout Joey ! It will still end up slipping at some point! Remove the two bolts and see if you can move the gear ring clockwise with the clutch depressed! You first need to identify if the clutch brake is even close! Some one may have been backing the external adjustment out to achieve free pedal! Just human nature!
  13. If you want to walk on the wild side you can use propane!😂
  14. That can be nasty too the shaft lining up with the bottom frame flange yuck
  15. Some thing that used to piss me off about these manuals is the lack of info to location of switches and sensors Mindless trolls that write these manuals some times! NOT HELPFUL! Cummins had it hands down over the manufacturers for this They provided the location and the checks for it all in the description of the complaint!
  16. This happens on the forward side when you don't have free pedal on the clutch ! I have a habit! I open the drivers door put my hand on the clutch pedal I then know what to expect when I go to move the truck! I also now Can Nag at to whom ever owns the truck to adjust the dam thing for that very reason! One of my many pet peeves!
  17. have you checked the fuel pressure ???
  18. can you post a picture looking up into the clutch access hole need to verify which clutch you have!
  19. hopefully the rear holes are the same as the front on the fuller!
  20. glad you remembered ! I for the life of me forgot which side and upper or lower! I do remember the fact we had an issue with one in the early AI engine! I think we ended up reflashing the ECU To get it to correct! symptoms were blue retarded smoke at idle! when ever it felt like it! PIA to track down!
  21. So have you checked your fuel pressure? Another thing you can try is to put the ambient air temperature sensor in some ice water see if things change ! Located at the bottom of the radiator! Most times!
  22. I would double check the air drier personally is it leaking out the bottom? A slow build is usually something on the discharge line or unloaders!
  23. Your Fussin again ! didn't strike me as as smart ass!
