  1. Sure here is the pictures of it lettered. After everyone's feedback from here on using Daughter's and then Family was brought up I went with " and Family" on my truck and of course had my wife's name added to passenger door. He did a nice job on all the lettering freehand all paint no stickers. Jack
  2. I'll be around with the Superliner, Bruce lettered it yesterday for me.
  3. I have to say our Mack dealer McDevitt up here does a good job, have sent our trucks there when we cant do the work our selves do to time or just to much for our mechanics. The last time I got parts for my Superliner the younger parts guy was having a hard time finding the switch I needed he asked the older parts guy who walked out back and pulled out as he called it his black book and quickly found the part in his book not the computer and then crossed the number over to new number, Guys like that are fewer on the older trucks everywhere.
  4. The truck looks in my Boston accent " Wiked nice" Real nice job on it, defiantly something to be proud of. Jack
  5. They both have boy friends, or should I say oldest does and the youngest does not call him that but they go out a lot and she goes to his families house. I don't ask,,,,lol Jack
  6. You coming up with your truck Matt.
  7. I like the & Daughters myself, and talking with the girls they like the & Family because they said who knows what the future may hold ( they are 25 and 21 yrs old) and they like that it could include there families in the future. So sounds like we are heading down that road. There names are on the truck now and they love that I appreciate everyone's comments. Jack
  8. Family was my other thought aswell for the truck, my wife likes that. Thanks guys for your responses, that's why I posted that here. Jack
  9. I am going to finally get the truck all lettered with my name on the door. The thought I had was that seeing as I have no sons I was going to have the truck Lettered,,,,,J O'Donnell Jr & Daughters North Chelmsford Ma.,,,naturally not the way it looks here but that wording, I will leave it up to lettering guy to decide on the layout of it. My thoughts for going with daughters was that the other truck says sons because its My father and I and the Superliner is mine and I have no sons, but my Daughters do take an interest in the truck and help me do things to it and do like to attend the shows to see the trucks. Some comments I have gotten are that it is to " girlish" to have daughters on the truck. Me personally don't see it that way so that said I am posting it here to gain your feed back and any and all are welcome!
  10. Nice of you to say that about my truck. Be nice if they could line up all the Superliners in Bolton, there have to be about 8 of us with them now at the show.
  11. PC 68 you going to be taking the trucks on the Bolton fair grounds in Lancaster on the 13th Jack
  12. Just did mine and it took 4 cans to fill it back up to make it nice and chilly in the cab.
  13. Here is a picture of a nice one piece unit
  14. Our 86 R model had that same bezel around the headlights when we ordered it new.
  15. The Hudson show is now in Lancaster Ma. off route 117 on 495 on July 13, I will have the truck there for it's first show. Have still been working on it with little things. Jack
  16. Some Superliner pictures posted by others from BMT. Three very high end restorations.
  17. Just worn out the pins where oblonged where they meet the shackle to the can and adjusted to where they should be, lesson learned jack each wheel off the ground spin wheel as you adjust because each side adjusts opposite the other. The front slack adjuster was stripped out on the spline so that was junk but all are fixed now and it stops just fine already drove it down 495 in pm rush hour from Hopkinton to Wilmington and that is nothing but stop and go,,,lol
  18. Thanks for the info, they are all fixed picked up 4 new slack adjusters for it and all is well in my world, they are adjusted right, jacked up each wheel to do the adjusting and it stops better than before, also replaced a broken self adjusting one on the right front side. Jack
  19. They all need work in the beginning, mine was no different after I got it. So now that it is a year and a half later I am taking it to its first show in 3wks and it has been all worth it ,,,,,not to my wife of course.
  20. Some very nice pictures, thanks for posting. Jack
  21. I like the old style logo a lot, but have to admit the new logo does grow on you, it is distinctive like the old one and you know who it is.
  22. Yes the truck will be in Lancaster on the 13th Bryan,,,see you then. Jack
  23. Yes it has a 425 3406B in it from the factory.
  24. All polished and added daughters names to truck.
