  1. Look up Global truck in NH he may have,,,Also you are going to need to get the cross braces for the posts that run from each post to the frame. I had to make the attaching parts for mine from pictures of other guys trucks I took, attached is a pic of Skip Mckeen's truck.
  2. I have to agree with you, I understand wanting to know the price and see why people want to know, I also see his side in not posting it and his reasons.
  3. That super looks great, rugged and classy in one truck. Like the finished job!!!
  4. Nice Superliner, get it all cleaned up and it will look great. I would leave it as a single stack, looks nice the way it is. Maybe you could add full fenders over the rears, a little stainless bling. Enjoy your truck!!
  5. My Superliner is being painted at this time, sent it out to have the frame all sandblasted and painted, going to paint the frame old Mack red and paint fuel tanks red to match the frame instead of the black they are now. My cab is black with ford fairlane blue on the hood and all the New England pinstripping. The R-Model is a friends truck and he has a CL in the same paint sceme as the R
  6. I would talk to a truck broker and sell it oversees to a collector who knows what they want and will pay for it. That truck is truly an excellent rebuilding of that truck, we almost sold ours last year to a person in Australia after a broker contacted my father about any intrest in selling it, lets just say we where offered a lot more than what you may think your truck is worth. My father decided to keep it becuase we picked up the Superliner and could move the truck easier to shows. Send me a P.M and i will get you the info if your interested. I know it could leave the country but it could go to where they love Macks as much as we do. Some pics of our truck so you may compare.
  7. Remember Derosa's equipment at the Burlington Mall,,,,they moved a lot of snow there over the years.
  8. Here is an 88 that the owner just streached the frame and put a new body on. the truck I believe had 90,000 miles original. A very well kept truck.
  9. My B-model came from the factory with the black fenders and chrome radiator shell and all red frame to match the cab. When we restored the truck we changed it up and went with Mack red for the cab and frame and fenders, but painted the hood and top of the cab from back window up black. Was down this way as a personal preference.
  10. Josephs Equipment has for sale one of Cappello's Superliners, has a 400hp Mack, 12speed, 20 front and 44 rears. very clean truck inside and out do not know what he is asking for it, tried to download a picture but no luck, he has it on his website.
  11. Some pics from this past sundays DPW Day in Burlington.
  12. Here Superliner Pic from DPW day in Burlington Ma. and a nice new Titan.
  13. I am not sure but the extended maybe the one you see on some other members trucks that is forward of the radiator and the ends flair back in to meet the edge of the fender. The other common bumper is the flush mount that are straight all the way across and are pretty flush to to the nose. I have given you couple of pics of trucks.
  14. I have to go for a truck that you look at and say I want one, it has to be the LTL. Those trucks are timeless for me, they look as good today as they did back when they first came out. My Second choice is the Superliner, like the LTL it is a distintive look and style and an ageless look to me. I love my B-model and its looks and simple lines and looks but the other two trucks for me are it.
  15. Some more Superliner Pics and trucks from Worcester show and Hudson show
  16. Here is Leahy Superliner from behind
  17. I voted for the 70's-80's based on what I think is a future classic in the Superliner. The truck is like no other and to me is the modern version of the LJ to this point. They had power, and that classic grill. Before the B-model lovers kill me I love the looks of them and everything they stood for and would not trade mine in for anything.
  18. have seen the truck most recently with a dump trailer on it, but believe he also has pulled his lowbed. I don't think the truck will hang around long.
