  1. Thats a really clean truck, I see it around every so often, he pulls a lowbed and a dump trailer with it. There is not much to do to it, very clean truck, the price of 26,000 is pretty fair for a Superliner of that condition, knowing what I spent on my former Cappello Super.
  2. All I have is what was related to the production run on Superliners as that is what I own, If you contact the Mack Museum with what you want they can help you, that is where I got these run sheets.
  3. I know Matt who owns it and he did say it was a NJ truck before he got it.
  4. Two nice Brockways at Worchester Sand & Gravel Show today
  5. Some Superliners from Worchester Sand & Gravel show today
  6. Yes he is up there in Auburn NH, a lot of guy's recomended them and I got prices else where and he was in line. To do all the frame and fuel tanks, and rims $3,100 I did remove all the tool box's, fenders, headboard and deck plates and he will do that stuff also. He does do nice work, know French in Billerica sends his stuff there, and Harrington in Chelmsford also.
  7. Just sent my Superliner to ArcSource painting up in your neck of the woods to have the frame all sand plasted, primed and electro-static painted. I removed all the hardware off truck for him and he will paint all that stuff. Frame was not to bad but like 2stacksuperdog says why wait, so what little is there now will be gone and the electrostatic paint is drawn into all the gaps by the negative charge, so all gets covered very well.
  8. The trucks look sharp, nice job.
  9. Going to bring the B-61 there again, nice show and nice people. Superliner is off having frame painted, so next year for me to bring both trucks.
  10. Very nice truck,,,looks like a lot of time went into that restoration!
  11. The reason I think that way, is after 10 yrs and a lot of time to restore mine and it was still working when I bought it and in far, far better shape than this one. I had the luxury of doing mine in our own shop and people to work on during slow times and the out of pocket money was on the parts and paint job. To restore these old trucks as you know is a passion as I have seen from your trucks that it is a passion and at times an expensive undertaking. So to me I view that truck as a very good parts truck to make another truck, taking parts from it is not wasting the truck, it is being used to finish another not for profit and being cut up to be parted out so to me its life is still being used. I had to get parts off another truck to finish this one.
  12. Looking very nice, the stripping of the truck will beworth it from the looks of the pics. Like the color of the stripes on it.
  13. I live in town and have seen this truck, she is very rough, for the money you are buying it for a parts truck to use for another truck. That said for a $1,000 dollars you get a lot of good parts.
  14. Put the heavier weight stainless steel corrigated ones on and run the flap down from below the mounting post. We put the lighter weight stainless on our B-Model only and they look nice on it, we had to make up all the brackets to fit it.
  15. I just had to replace the drivers side steering box on my 89 Superliner, they had none around here, but McDivott Mack found one an original at a dealer in Canada paid almost $600 for that and turned in my core.
  16. Looks nice Vinny, will look real nice when completed.
  17. Very nice pictures, also liked the train ones.
  18. Joseph Equipment has a Cappello R-Model for sale up in Manchester NH, is this the same truck.
  19. That is a really nice looking truck, just the right shine and nice color.
  20. At the rate Cat truck / Internationals are selling if Volvo lets Mack go down they would be a nice buyout target of Cat,,,,,Everything is speculation. Volvo makes lots of lower end cheap trucks so sales should be greater than Mack, the question comes what truck they make more profit per unit on and my bet is the Macks have a better profit margin. I know that the owner I work for is all Mack and have just ordered 10 more Visions for there Super Market Chain, they must have now 50 tractors and they love them.
